I know i am suppose to be on hiatus :-X but i just had to share this excerpt from "The Sealed Nectar" about how Umar ibn Khattab (R) got the title Al-Farooq ("he who distinguishes truth from falsehood")- it is something i always wondered about! I love the story of his conversion from Sealed Nectar because it was even more detailed than Khurram Murad (you should try his books. Very simple and nice for kids ^^ )

I have some big book on Umar (ra) but I dunno what it is. That sounds like the author's name, though.

Khurram Murad's books are thin and the Hazrat Umar (ra) is named "The Prosecutor Comes Home" I'd check but I dont have it atm :s
