ooc: Dream

It was very sudden. A flash and a bang, then BOOM! Without warning he was in a large field, watching two creatures battle one another, all memory of where he had just been washed away in the breeze. He knew, could tell just by looking, that although it was a fierce battle, the victor would be the only one feeling sorry. Two true opponents, made almost friends through their attacks. On the right a great blue dragon, its right eye gouged out and left empty; on the left a bright red tiger, a flame seeming to burn at its core. He was beginning to feel pretty pumped up too, but some semblance of intelligence kept him from throwing himself into the fray. That, and his legs wouldn’t move. Instead he had to settle for balling his fists and raising both arms in an almost celebratory manner.

“Fight honou-BBLAUUGH”

The field and the combatants both disappeared as suddenly as they had appeared, to be replaced by a rotating vision of the world. First he saw the sky, then a large man, then the ground. This process repeated itself a number of times before everything finally stopped, leaving him staring at the sky and his own rear-end. He stayed that way for a moment, still dazed by the knock to the head, but eventually unrolled himself and stood up, energetically trotting toward the man who had sent him flying.

“This is no time to be sleeping!” The voice was loud and stern, but also kind in a way.

The man towered above him, broad shoulders made all the more imposing by the thick muscles that covered them. He wore a large headdress made of red fur, the ends of it hanging down his back. A pair of large horns protruded from the temple area.

“Oyakata-sama, my greatest apologies! This Yu- UWAAAH”

Again, he was sent flying, and again he simply picked himself back up and ran back to his master. One or two punches wouldn’t put him out!

“Listen! If you have the time to sleep, you have time to train! Remember this, as you will someday be taking my place.”

His face fell. He had no intention of replacing oyakata-sama. It simply wasn’t his place to do that. Besides he had a goal; one goal he needed to achieve. It was the most important thing to him, the reason he lived and fought.

It was…
