As he approaches the house, he's able to hear music playing. Christmas-themed music. If "Christmas at Ground Zero" qualifies as being in the Christmas spirit that is.

Shader answers the door. It looks like some decorating has been going on. "Hey Ed. If you're looking for the Grinch, he's of plotting the destruction of Christmas."
