Ed wanders the Nexus, head down, hands in pockets, and tail swaying slightly. He's paying minimal attention to his surroundings, but then he does have Maes riding on his shoulder to pay attention to things for him.

There's a whooshing in the air above and behind Ed, growing louder very quickly. This is quickly followed by a high-pitched yelp as Sarah zooms down over Ed (just barely missing smacking into him) and backwings in time to avoid a crash.

As it is? It's more of a heavy thud and tumble. "Ow ow ow ow ow..." And here comes Tsuri! Mama shouldn't have been going so fast! D

Ed yelps and ducks, arms covering his head. He uncovers his head cautiously and blinks at Sarah. "...Um. You okay there?"

Maes, in the meantime, would give him the firelizard equivalent of the hairy eyeball for not giving him advance warning about the sudden moving around but he's too fascinated by Sarah's new appendages to do so.

"Um, I think so..." Sarah replies, gingerly poking at her wings to check for any injuries. "S-sorry about the crash landing..." She looks back and blinks at she swishing tail.

Tsuri chatters angrily for a few moments before settling on one of Sarah's wings, which twitches at the weight.

Maes flies over to investigate Sarah's new wings. :D

Ed spares a moment to give the bronze a betrayed look for abandoning him before returning his attention to the human.

"What?" he asks, crossing his arms defensively, tail starting to swish more.

Sooner or later, Faye's gonna cross his path... And he'll see right away that her luck's true to form - She doesn't usually have purple iguana skin, after all. "Hi, Ed. Did the fluff ball get you too?"

Ed looks up and blinks at her, letting his tail sort of wave at her as the non-verbal part of his answer. "Uh, yeah. ...Interesting skin tone you've got there."

She absently stroking her skin on her arm... it feels weird.

"Didn't take me long to get LOL'd, huh?" She looks embarrassed.

"Uh, no. No, it didn't. You'd think that everybody would learn to leave at least the weird looking things alone..."

Totally lost this time. Katydid looks up from her PINpoint and twitches her antennae with a gleeful grin, then wonders if half an hour at home is the same as half an hour here.

Bummer....

Ed sees a bit of pink out the corner of his eye where there shouldn't be any such color and turns his head to look.

"Uh, hi."

The six foot tall youngling blinks her large brown optics. "Hi! Do you know if time passes the same here as in other places?"

"It varies. For some people only a few minutes go by back home no matter how long they spend here, for others, more time goes by. Why?"

Luckily Ata would be heard before she's seen. Noting the tail, she says wryly, "You touched something you shouldn't have, haven't you?"

"Eh heh. Yeah." Ed rubs at the back of his neck sheepishly.

"So, what was it?" She wants to know so she can avoid it.

"Some furry... thing. Was in the middle of trying to figure out where it's body was under all that fluff when I realized that there was something wrong with me." He shrugs.
