Ed wanders the Nexus, head down, hands in pockets, and tail swaying slightly. He's paying minimal attention to his surroundings, but then he does have Maes riding on his shoulder to pay attention to things for him.
Totally lost this time. Katydid looks up from her PINpoint and twitches her antennae with a gleeful grin, then wonders if half an hour at home is the same as half an hour here.
"Go with being here for half an hour and find out how long it's been when you go back home?" Ed suggests. "I did something like that while trying to figure out the time difference between here and where I'm from."
Ed shrugs. "If they do, just point out that no one thought to let you know what the time difference between here and there is and that it's their own fault."

Ed sees a bit of pink out the corner of his eye where there shouldn't be any such color and turns his head to look.
"Uh, hi."

"It varies. For some people only a few minutes go by back home no matter how long they spend here, for others, more time goes by. Why?"

"I was thinking more along the lines of merged with someone or something." His tail lashes agitatedly.
