Ed slowly woke up as his brain muzzily informed him there was something strange going on.
It took a few minutes for the fact that a wet, rough, sandpapery-feeling thing kept applying itself to his face to properly register. It took an additional thirty seconds for him to realize what that meant.
His eyes snapped open and he found himself more or less eyeball to eyeball with his brother's cat, causing him to shriek.

Al looked up from the book he had been reading, startled, at the sound of his brother's scream. "What the..?"
Edward stormed out of his room, clad only in a t-shirt and boxers, holding the cat away from himself and dumped it in his brother's lap. "He decided to exfoliate my face while I was sleeping." With that, he turned and marched back into his room, slamming the door behind him.
Al just blinked down at his lapful of now happily purring cat. "You really shouldn't interrupt one of Brother's naps."
