Ed's hurrying back to her apartment as quickly as possible; one hand clutching the front of her jacket closed. There's a new knife sheathed on her belt.

Needless to say, she's really hoping she doesn't run into anyone she knows.

Funny thing about the Nexus? It's so freaking big, people get lazy on their errands. And what do they have for that purpose?

Sarah frowns and shakes the 'watch' on her wrists as she materializes in front of the apartments carrying a bag of groceries, and glances up at Tsuri who appears above her. "Maybe I need to get this thing looked at..."

Ed freezes at sight of her and tries to sneak off to her apartment before she gets noticed.

Unfortunately, Sarah turns at just the right moment to spot her. "Oh! Hello again!" So chipper, isn't she? :D

Ed gives her a weak smile and wave; feeling like trying to melt into the ground.

"Oh. So basically, you just sort of gotten kind of numb to the changes after awhile?" Ed finally gets around to remembering that Sarah's holding a bag of groceries. "Er, do you have anything in there that you should be sticking into a fridge?"

"Pretty much--ah?" She rifles through the bag, muttering to herself. "A few things, yeah...wanna come in? Nabbed some coffee ice cream, I could make some smoothies."

Ed shrugs. "May as well. Don't feel like risking getting laughed at by my brother yet."

"I'd expect more of a stare, honestly!" She laughs and leads the way up the walk, punching in the code and holding the door open.

Well, no such luck there, 'cause she's just crossed paths with Faye. Now she hasn't got errands to run, she's just wandering a bit.

"...Ed?"

Ed lets out a faint whimper before reluctantly turning to face Faye.

Faye proceeds to smirk at her. "Well, what did you go and poke this time?"

Ed glowers and taps on the knife at her side. Apparently, she doesn't feel like revealing how much higher her voice has gotten yet. Not that it was really that much higher. His voice had never been all that low in the first place.

"Eh heh...I guess skipping two practices so soon together could turn into a bad habit." Mmm...she didn't do bad at all! Still would've been better with bananna, though.

"Yeah. One we don't really need," Ed agrees, before drinking more of her own smoothie.

"This gonna ruin any plans?" She holds up the glass when Tsuri chirps, letting her try a bit of it. She snorts after a small drink, trilling a bit. Tastes funny!

"Well, this weekend could get to be kind of... interesting." Ed rubs at the back of her neck.

Ed keeps giving Sarah a suspicious look; not buying it for a moment.
