-Thanks to chat/text records, I know Tue., Oct. 18, was the day I did the KS run for... Right, my mom needed something from Fried, so I also passed through the Eden there and got a bunch other errands done. That would be when I got reminded that I want speakers for my laptop, now it has a desk set up in my room, and my mom reminded me we have her set (
xref) so there's no need to buy anything.
Fried are up by the industrial zone's main street, so while I was there I poked into a couple of the stores. I got a hangar for my room - I wanted something non-ugly to put on the wall behind the door for ever, so it was very nice to finally find something.
Got back there on Wed., Oct. 26., with
ernads and
antongarou. We got some stuff for their kitchen (there's an ongoing effort including
tamara_russo and
lovechilde on the matter of Actually Nice Things), and marked one of the furniture stores for when the dining table and the couch finally get replaced. Then we drove up to Arim, where we got
ernads shoes from the real nice hiking-gear store, and introduced
antongarou to my hairdresser. (Everyone came away happy from that last one, including
ernads, who came back there for herself a few weeks later.)
The day before, that was the periodic check with the lungs doc. This time, I let him talk me into something for the stuffy nose, because that was beginning to be really annoying. (He was also concerned I don't have a rescue inhaler, but I know every single one available and I refuse to touch them, so.) That turned out to be a terrible mistake, though it took me a few days on the Rhinolast to realize that. Me and new antihistamines, even a worse idea than it used to be.
Nov. 01, winter made like it's arriving for a day. Nov. 02 (another Wed)
tamara_russo and I met at Tel Aviv, but the traffic was a real special hell: I got stuck on the way to KS for about an hour because there was a massive accident at Eyal interchange, then 149 skipped a line for no reason - or took too long, or both, fuck if I remember. We did find a nice tiny sushi place at the corner of Dizengoff and one of the avenues, but - right, that was the day 149 on the way back took over two hours, wasn't it? I arrived home something like three hours later than intended. That was unfun was all involved.
It's possible there was nothing of interest between that and Thu, Nov. 17 (which was lunch with
cessy), but I'm going to triple-check that. Either way, that week had a wonderfully gorgeous weather - then the eastern winds started, and didn't fucking stop. We had something like two weeks of those winds at a minimum of 40km/hr and humidity under 10%, with... more than the number of fires one would expect, unless one counts on fucking arson.
...oh, right. Of course there was. Sat Nov 12 is when I got my period again (Oct. 15 was the previous one, because of course it was) and we went looking at pianos. Tue the 15th was when Pinuki had blood in his feces. That week was an overload, and it came about two weeks after the end of my unfortunate week on the Rhinolast. Then the fucking wind happened, and I pretty much had a fucking horrible month from that point on.
(Having now gone back to the actual dayplanner I now have - as of pretty much this point in recollection, actually - Mon 14 Nov was also that day that come evening my mom realized she still hasn't been to the boulangerie and they've been holding our order since morning, so I did a fun evening run to KS. This should've popped up on phone-chat records - I did a thorough check of the big crafts store - but I think I used the voice feature, so it wouldn't have been easily identifiable unless there was something specific in anyone's reply.)
(And Wed that week my mom was at Tel Aviv. Yeah, it's been a Week.)
Adding to that, Thu-Fri 17-18 Nov Pinuki bolted on me in a way that ended with me trying him to the lamp post and spending a few days (possibly a week?) on naproxen at anti-inflammatory dose. Which meant my mom did all the walking for a few days after that, and needless to say all involved were massively unhappy about that.
I have it marked that on Wed the 23rd my mom's been with Pinuki at the internist vet, but I don't remember what that was for. Possibly - probably - follow-up to the stomach thing.
When the eastern winds stopped (~25 Nov) - well, it was definitely before Tue the 29th, because that was the day I spent about two hours on pharmacy/groceries/fuel. It also means winter wasn't yet awful that day, but it was definitely wet, raining and that much colder the day after that. It's still cold with significant rain, though the latter is occasionally taking a day or two off; the mud isn't that awful yet.
This post started 12:55; it's now 14:20, but unpacking groceries and feeding Pinuki also happened.
