Honestly, it doesn't matter to me! Have fun with it.
And, just because we're nosy, where did you hear about
hagaren_rating? Another LJ comm's userinfo.
You In General
Hobbies: Gardening, playing my harp, music, reading, going for walks.
Talents: I'm not quite sure, actually! I think I'd feel somewhat full of myself if I listed my "talents." I have high standards for myself, so to get to that point to call them talents... I don't know. I hope to honestly feel that I do have it for some thing, some day.
Likes: Reading, music, photography, going for walks, history and foreign cultures, lilacs, cats, when the leaves change colour in autumn, feeling loved, the elderly, nice people, comedies, movies, having things in common with others, learning languages, joking, gardening, travelling (which I've yet to do much of.. but hope to!)
Dislikes: Hot weather, little kids who dress like hookers, smoking/drugs, excessively serious/uptight people, rejection, big cities, my shyness getting in the way of expressing my wants/opinions, Angry people, horror movies (I can get easily spooked, ha-ha), unreliable people, liars, pollution, ridiculously cynical people, mathematics, feeling unwanted, in-your-face atheists, being far from the ocean, most dogs, animal/child/spousal abuse, ignorance without the wish to remedy it, cruelty.
Three words that best describe you: Modest, loving, complaisant.
Dreams for the future: I actually have a lot of them.. I want to travel the world, especially Europe -- I want to immerse myself in different cultures. Learn at least 2 or 3 other languages, learn as much as I can in general, make one person in particular a very happy person. Fall in love. Career wise, I want to graduate from music school and get my library science degree afterwards, so I can become a music librarian. :)
Favourites
Favourite colour: Sage green.
Favourite food: Pumpkin pie.
Favourite season: Autumn, for the beautiful colours.
Favourite animal: Little wild birds. :)
FMA
Favourite character, and why:
If you could choose to be any of the characters for a day, who would you choose, and why?
Favourite pairing: Ed/Winry. It's always been Ed/Winry for quite a few years now.. I have a weakness for the childhood friend pairings; but EdWin sticks out to me from other series.
Favourite FMA song, and why: It's got to be "Melissa", if we are talking OP/ED. If overall songs? Bratja! Both fit the series best, in my mind.
Favourite type of alchemy (e.g. flame, metal, light), and why: Light alchemy! I've always been attracted to "light"/healing abilities.
Which is best, the manga or the anime? I've *always* took more to the manga, for some reason. I felt the plot was better thought out, and the characters have more depth. Not to mention I'm a bit in love with the art style: I think Arakawa is a genius.
And/Or
Leader or follower? I suppose you could say I am a follower, but when I have my own ideas, I will attempt to have them heard if I feel they can contribute.
Cool and collected or emotional? I'm definitely more emotional. I have never been one to be stoic, or "too cool to feel". Things usually come pouring out, no matter how much I try to keep them hidden.
Confident or shy? I'm shy. I've always been shy.. :)I don't think I am or ever will be particularly outgoing unless I am drunk.
Optimist or pessimist? You know, I'd say I'm an optimist. I recover even from my darkest moods with a bit of sleep and always seem to remain hopeful. With my self confidence issues, it makes it so that things concerning myself (such as my likeability/attractiveness) are seen in a pessimistic light, but I try to avoid that thinking.
