The first (heavy) rains lashed Bangalore today and it took almost 2 hrs and 30 minutes for my Friday evening commute back home. Sometime back, I used to be at Home in Mysore on Fridays around the same time :-)

Howdalva, I even thought the same, as I headed back to home. The infrastructure is chaotic and crumbling all around.

If one decides to take a walk on the roads, he(she) shall be deluged by the muddy waters splashed at aplenty, by the vehicles that ply over namma bengaLooru's roads.

It's difficult to scale the existing infrastructure to match the burgeoning growth. Not sure how this can be done, but however we have a very interesting problem with us now for which we better find a solution :-)

LOL! A boating service to ferry people also might not be a bad idea :-)

I too traveled for ~2 hours (getting drenched all the while) to cover 6-7 Kms this Friday night :| It was very frustrating..
