LJ deleting old/inactive accounts??

Hey, does anybody know for sure what's going on? I heard that Live Journal is going to start deleting inactive accounts. Nobody's entirely sure what "inactive" entails. Info??? Thanks. :(

In other news, I keep trying to get back on here. Numerous factors intervene. Details if I ever do get a chance to get back on here. Heh.

If your journal has posts in it, it's not inactive. If it has no posts in it, then they check to see how recently it's been logged into.

The newsletter they sent out last week explained it all. Something along the lines of not logging in for 24 months, then it gets marked for purging, and they'll notify the owner, who will then have a chance to log in, etc. I don't think you're in any danger. Me, neither, although this is the first time I've logged in for a few months. Eep. LOL

Oh, okay. I'm betting the newsletter is sitting around in the email I never check anymore either. :D Curse Facebook! Lol.
