A/N: This fic is the continuation of the fic I made, Love comes. But this one concentrates on the family.
“Wake up! Reiiiii~”
“nuuuu…uuu…u…” Rei mumbled against the pillow.
Inoo huffed, looking down at his daughter sleeping like a baby. “I’ll give you 5 more minutes” He stated and left the room and walked to his and Takaki’s room, Takaki was on the bed putting on his socks then he lay down on the bed beside Takaki.
“You look good in apron” Takaki complimented, Inoo has an apron on because he was cooking breakfast for them. “Like a wife” He added and received a glare from Inoo. “It’s weird seeing you not being so rush early in the morning. I mean weird in a good way” Takaki lay down on his back beside Inoo.
“Yeah…” Inoo agreed. He was always in a rush early in the morning. And sometimes, he has to admit that he made sloppy breakfast. But that is only sometimes. Then he recalled yesterday’s incident at work.
He bumped into the future owner who had slept with him and he keeps giving Inoo these strange looks. Even when he was presenting the plan for the building, what’s worse was when he grope Inoo’s bottom when he left the office. At first Inoo ignored it because he has to live up to his work. Then suddenly when he was doing his work, a lot of things bothered his mind. He couldn’t handle it no more, it became worse when Matsumoto passed by him and giving him this look. He didn’t really want to bring trouble or be in trouble or just troubled.
After mentally being at his limit, he walked to the boss’s office and told him at once that he quits. He left all of his projects in the good hands of Yoshizawa. Even the boss was shock but didn’t say anything. So Inoo packed his stuff and without saying goodbye, he left.
“WOWWW!!!!” Rei and Takaki’s eyes sparkle as they saw the food on the table. Since Inoo quits, he has all the time in the world to make the perfect breakfast for his family, Okonomiyaki, Nikujaga, Onigiri, Fried rice and pancakes. Seeing Rei and Takaki’s reaction even lighten up his mood.
“ITADAKIMASUU!!!!!!!!” The both of them cheerfully dig in. Inoo could only sit there and be amazed how food… could ‘wake’ them up like that. He wonder what will happen if he’s not there to wake them up. Once they were done eating, Jinguji came over to pick her up for school, Takaki was eyeing Jinguji Suspiciously before letting go of Rei.
“What are you gonna do the whole day?” Takaki ask and sat on the couch.
“Hm? I don’t know yet” Inoo answered while cleaning the dishes.
“Ne Kei…” Takaki walk towards Inoo and lean against the counter beside Inoo. “You said you quit your job in a storm right? Were you serious? I mean, we’re talking about your job here”
“We’ve discuss this last night, Yuya. I won’t be coming back to that place anymore” Inoo reassured.
“Well I mean, I know you love architect and all… I’m just worried about you” Takaki said. At the same time he felt relief that Inoo quits that job. It’s a good job, but it’s full of horny workers.
“Like I said… I just needed a break” Inoo dried his hands with the towel. “I’ll look someplace else and in the mean time, I’ll do my best to improve my housewife skill.” He added, though he only said the housewife thing just to make Takaki feel happy. Since for a long time now, Takaki is always seen as the papa and Inoo as the mama.
Takaki grinned at Inoo’s last statement. He was full of joy hearing that from Inoo.
“Anything to make you happy” Inoo rolled his eyes and walk away.
Takaki followed after Inoo and place his hands around Inoo’s waist. “I want to stay at home with you” He whispers against Inoo’s ear and kissed Inoo’s neck. Inoo relaxed in Takaki’s arm, unconsciously tilting his head to the side to give Takaki access to kiss his neck.
Takaki was about to leave a mark, but then the hickeys he left few days ago were still visible. Not that he can see it from afar but definitely visible if he’s this close. So he just continues kissing Inoo on his neck without leaving a bite. Inoo turn around and wrap his hands around Takaki’s shoulder, giving him a short kiss on the lips.
“But I have to work” Takaki half whined.
“Well you have to go” Inoo gave Takaki a small push. “Those kids are waiting for you”
Takaki lean his forehead against Inoo, he wanted to say I love you, but he says it a lot of times already and Inoo knows that too.

“Coooollll~~~ I get to see fishesssss” Rei bounced up and down cheerfully, practically ignoring Jinguji and genki once genki gave her the ticket. “I can’t wait to see Needlefish~! Or oh, Sharks! And Barracudas!”
“…Aren’t those… dangerous?” Genki wonder.
“I don’t know too. She’s a fan of those rather than dolphins or walrus” Jinguji said while munching on his chocolate.
“So weird” Genki commented. Although Genki was upset that he couldn’t go with just Jinguji, it actually made him happy seeing Rei happy because Rei’s his friend too.
“Genki”
Genki and Jinguji turn around and saw Sakura… WET?!?!?
“What happened to you?!” Genki asked in a worried tone, even caught Rei’s attention who was day dreaming.
“I jumped into the swimming pool” Sakura murmured.
Genki, Jinguji and Rei have this question mark reaction on the faces.
“…Because I got rejected” Sakura said before they could even ask and she started crying infront of them.
“I’ll go bring her to the locker room” Rei insisted and place her hand around Sakura’s shoulder to comfort her and walked her to the locker room.
“That bastard” Genki cursed.
“Wha…?” Jinguji scratch his head, he is very puzzled at the moment.
“Miyachika” Genki started. “He told me he likes my cousin and now when Sakura confessed he rejected her?”
“Well… When exactly did Miyachika told you he likes sakura?” Genki asked. “coz people change you know” He said sarcastically.
“Last year” Genki replied. “I’m gonna talk to him”
“I’ll go with” Jinguji followed after Genki. Although Jinguji smiled a bit, because Genki is cute and short, it doesn’t suit him being angry.

“So that’s what happened huh” Rei sigh and she places Sakura’s wet blazer at the bench. While Sakura is dressed in PE uniform. Sakura had confessed to Miyachika, But Miyachika turned her down by saying to her that she was too late and he found somebody already.
Rei sat next to Sakura and ruffled her hair with her hand. “Cheer up” Rei smiled at her. “I’m sure Genki and Jingu are out there giving Miyachika a butt kick of a life time”
Sakura giggled.
“You can wear my extra socks. I always keep one since I take off my indoor shoes in class all the time” Rei went to her locker and took out her socks.
“Thanks Reichan” Sakura said then Rei turn around to see Sakura smiling at her.
“it’s okay” She smiled in return. “If it makes you feel better… you can hang out with the three of us” Rei suggested.
“eh?”
“Yeah” Rei sat next to Sakura. “Me, Jingu and Genki are going to the aquarium this Sunday. Do you want to join us?”
Sakura looked at her, confuse. “Sure but… Genki wouldn’t mind us going?” She asked.
Rei became confused too with Sakura’s question. “Genki’s the one who got the tickets for the three of us”
“…Eh? I thought he only got the tickets for him and Jinguji-kun” Sakura wondered.
“…What do you mean?” Rei asked.
“He told me before, that he got the tickets for him and Jinguji-kun only. He said he wanted to confess to Jinguji-kun there” Sakura explained.
Rei looked at Sakura weirdly, trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together in her head. She was too confused for words. What does Sakura mean by confess?
“Didn’t he tell you? That he likes Jinguji-kun?” Sakura asked.
Okay now Rei finds that statement very impossible but it’s coming from Sakura, Genki’s cousin. She didn’t know Genki swings that way.
“He didn’t” Rei said.
“…Oh… I thought you knew… since you guys are close” Sakura said, she felt a little guilty though for revealing about Genki’s feelings to Rei. But it was only because she thought Rei knows since they’re often together.
“Can you just keep this between us? I don’t want Genki to get hurt like last time” Sakura continued.
Like last time? “What last time?” Rei asked.
“Um… You see… during 5th grade primary school, he liked this kid… and when Genki confessed to him, that guy ended up bullying Genki for being… you know” Sakura hinted. “and his dad found out that he’s like that, he got upset and beats Genki… even now sometimes, so Genki often return to my place when he feels scared to go home after school.” She stopped when she realize she was talking too much. “I think I went too far”
Rei didn’t know that. She didn’t know that at all. Genki is always ‘Genki’ around them. He never show signs of sadness, he never really talks about his family.
“No, that’s alright…” Rei replied but she was actually puzzled.
Rei couldn’t look at Genki the same again after what Sakura have told her. The only people she knew that are gay is her own parents. But she didn’t expect to have one as a friend. And to make it even worse, the person Genki likes is Jinguji. And that makes them rivals right? She wasn’t sure though since she didn’t tell anyone that she likes Jinguji.
“So, what did you guys do to Miyachika?” Rei asked when she and Jinguji were changing shoes at the shoe locker.
“Genki gave him a warning and Miyachika got an earful” Genki widen his eyes. He just couldn’t believe that Genki could be that scary. “How’s Sakura?”
“She’s fine. And oh, we need an extra ticket to the aquarium since I kinda invite Sakura” Rei said, looking elsewhere.
“Hey guys” Genki came over to them in his baseball uniform.
“Practice again huh?” Jinguji asked.
“Yeah. It can’t be help. Sorry that I have to abandon you guys again” Genki apologized since he promised to go watch movie together after school.
“That’s fineee~” Jinguji reassured. “By the way, Sakura is coming with us to the aquarium. And we’ll pay for her ticket this time” He insisted.
“Oh…Sure” Genki nodded. “The more the merrier”
Rei was standing there, she just couldn’t believe it as she observe Genki’s movements, gestures, reactions everything! and the moment Jinguji mentioned that Sakura is going too, she was sure she saw Genki’s slight rejected expression.
“Hellooooo~ earth to Reiii~” Jinguji waved his hand infront of Rei’s face.
“Huh” Rei snapped out of her thoughts. “What?”
“We’ll pay for Sakura’s ticket this time. Sicne Genki paid for ours” Jinguji repeated his suggestion.
“su-sure” Rei agreed.
“You okay, Rei?” Genki asked.
“I’m fine!” Rei answered instantly. “Just uh… WALRUS! I was walrus, thinking” She faked laughed. “Can’t wait to see them! Jingu! Let’s go watch the movie!!” She grinned and close the door of her shoe locker and went out of the building.
“... okay something is wrong with her and you will have to ask her before she blows her own mind. Can I trust you with that, Jingu?” Genki asked sarcastically.
“Definitely” Jingu aghast. Still wondered what’s going on with Rei. “I thought she likes barracudas” He muttered.

Takaki broke the kiss and kept his head close to Inoo while calming their breaths. He would give kisses to Inoo’s sweaty forehead, his cheek, his nose, then to his lips in process. Inoo whimpered when Takaki moved a little because he was still inside him.
He felt so grateful for Takaki’s principle for giving him half day work for today. And when Takaki arrived home, they watched a bit of a movie, Listening to Takaki’s story of his fun time at work and one thing led to another, they ended up doing it, no restrain, since it was still early and Rei’s gonna be home at night, they got all the time they need. He has never had sex with Takaki more than three times a day since… their university days! And the exhaustion in the end was all worth it. He pulled Takaki down with his hands around Takaki’s neck and kiss Takaki’s forehead.
Takaki almost want to kick himself for leaving bite marks allover Inoo’s body, not to mention some are even at the place where it couldn’t be hidden. He knew that he should limit himself with that but he was too caught up in the love making that he forgot to stop himself. Not to mention their sweaty bodies pressed up against eachother may turn him on if he didn’t have control.
“Wow…” Inoo voiced out. “That was…” Inoo was still trying to catch his breath.
“Long?” Takaki guessed Inoo’s continuation.

“I love you too” Inoo said before Takaki could even say it. “I gotta take shower…and make dinner” He added.

“Where do you think we should go this Sunday?” Takaki asked, playing with the cabbage on the table.
“Hm….why?” Inoo answered as he stirred the soup with the spoon.
“Since Reichan is going out with her friends. We should do something together this weekend. I mean we ever hardly go out now” Takaki stated.
“Sex?” Inoo said bluntly
Takaki felt like stabbing himself, because that is the most wonderful opportunity to do in the weekends, but other than sex like something else to do outside.
“I’m kidding” Inoo chuckled. And Takaki sigh in relief. “Well… I guess we can visit your family” Inoo suggested. “I kind of miss the twins” Takaki’s younger twin siblings, Yuzuru and Yukari.
“Those brats” Takaki twitched his upper lips upon the mention of his siblings as recall all of the moments his twins siblings used him as a transport, getting piggybacks etc.
Inoo chuckled. “It feels so nice you know~” He sigh. “Taking care of little kids. I miss carrying Reichan and the way she would hug my face with her small arms… or when she would sit with me while I do my homework” Inoo didn’t realize it, but he smiled. “or when she tried to help me with folding clothes… feeding her, changing her diapers” He laughed.
Takaki could only stare at Inoo’s back silently. He was there for half of Rei’s lives; he knows how Inoo looks at Rei when she was small. Inoo was the best parent Rei could ever have and he admires Inoo for that.
“I miss all that” Inoo muttered. He pour the soup from the pan to the bowl and place the pan in the sink. Then he felt a pair of arms wrapping around his shoulder from behind.
“Yuya?”
“I miss watching you brush Rei’s hair… She was so little back then…” Takaki murmured against Inoo’s hair. “But now she’s all grown up and stubborn”
Inoo laughed at the last part. “Well that’s only because you never let her win in arguments” He pointed out.
“Kei…”
“What?”
“… How about adopting?” Takaki whispered against Inoo’s ear.
Inoo turn around after hearing that. “What do you mean by adopting?”
“… We… can adopt a child from the orphanage… I mean… wouldn’t it be better if Rei has a sister? Or a brother?” Takaki suggested. “and you took care of rei so good…” He added.
Inoo smiled at Takaki. “As much as I miss taking care of a child… I don’t think it’s a good idea… “
“Why?”
“I love Rei… and only her” Inoo said, He wanted to say more, like he was scared to get too attached to another one like how he is attached to Rei. Or two gay parents would cause a problem.
“… Okay” Takaki nodded understandingly. He kissed Inoo on the forehead. “But in case if you ever change your mind… just tell me” He continued.

The next day Inoo spent it by cleaning the living room area. It didn’t take a long time since the living room isn’t big. He took out the laundry, changing the bed sheets, ironing the clothes, making muffins for Rei and Takaki. He was restless.
“Almost done” He murmured when he was putting cream onto of the muffins, one by one.

Inoo paused then he heard the door knock again. He place the can of cream on the table and wipe his hands against his apron. We should seriously get a doorbell.He thought as he walked towards the door.
The moment he open the door Matsumoto storm in and shock Inoo. What’s more confusing is that how Matsumoto know where he lives.
“What the heck were you thinking, quitting your job like it’s nothing?! Leaving the freaking fucked up project to the Yoshizawa group and what the fuck are you risking, huh?! It’s the one thing you can do and the only thing you can’t solve right! What, you think leaving the company would save your family? For a smart person to think of running away from it is too fucking ridiculous!” Matsumoto finally stop his anger once he saw Inoo backing away.
“…Get out” Inoo managed to say.
“I’m not getting out of here until I get an explanation” Matsumoto threw his bag to the couch and crossing his hands against his chest.
“It’s none of your business, Matsumoto” Inoo said at once.
“I want an explanation” Matsumoto demanded.
“Why can’t you just leave me alone? Why does it bother you so much that I left? My boss let me quit anyway so you got nothing to worry.”
“Is it because of me?” Matsumoto asked.
“…No…” Inoo murmured. “Well… some of it… “He changed is answer. “Matsumoto, I’m with Yuya, okay? I don’t want to do anything to hurt him”
“I know that”
“Then what do you want from me?”
“I…” I want you. Something Matsumoto can never say. “I… just want to know if you’re alright…”
“Well I’m fine” Inoo answered. “You can leave”
“No… Let me help” Matsumoto offered. “But first I’m sorry… for barging in… and yelling at you…” He apologizes.
Inoo nodded, accepting his apologies.
“I just… felt lonely without you there… I mean, personally to me… I can calm down whenever I see you at work… but now that you’re not… I feel troubled” He said honestly.
“… I’m sorry… I didn’t tell you about it” Inoo apologize in return.
“Please come back Inoo… I’ll protect you there” Matsumoto pleaded.
“No”
“Please, I’ll do anything for you to come back” He pleased again.
“I said No okay” Inoo said, a little bit angry. “I never really like that place anyway”
“I’ll help you look for another job then” He stated.
“You don’t have to” Inoo declined.
Then at the same time Takaki arrived at the doorstep and seeing Matsumoto there the first thing he came back home… he felt like throwing his candy (a huge lollipop he received from the kids at kindergarten) at Matsumoto’s face.
“Oh…” Matsumoto noticed Takaki. “I was just leaving” He fake a smile and grab his bag. “So, Inoo… I’ll call you if I find any architecture jobs”
Inoo noticed Matsumoto’s hints, to just go with it. “Thanks… I appreciate that” He replied.
“Good night” He said and left the place.
“… Is everything okay?” Takaki asked worriedly.
“Yeah” Inoo nodded.
Matsumoto walked out of the building and got into a car at the passenger’s seat. “He won’t come back” He said to the person on the driver’s seat.
“… Well you tried” The other person replied. “Now that I know where he lives… that’s good enough”
“… What do you mean?” Matsumoto asked.
“Is he alone?” The person asked.
“I guess by the day he is… since his child goes to school and his husband goes to work” Matsumoto answered.
“…good” He smirked.
Matsumoto understood that expression and he didn’t like it at all and his expectation made him even more worried. “If you lay a finger on Inoo, I swear I will kill you” Matsumoto warned.
“Get out of the car Matsumoto” He said in a deep tone.
Matsumoto felt like punching the guy next to him, but that’s impossible since he’s a member of a yakuza and he got out of the car. But the most unexpected thing happened at the same time, Rei and Jinguji were there, walking home from school and witnessed with their own eyes in horror…
The moment Matsumoto walked further already, the car drove and hit him.

“Yeah” Rei sat next to Sakura. “Me, Jingu and Genki are going to the aquarium this Sunday. Do you want to join us?”
Sakura looked at her, confuse. “Sure but… Genki wouldn’t mind us going?” She asked.
Rei became confused too with Sakura’s question. “Genki’s the one who got the tickets for the three of us”
“…Eh? I thought he only got the tickets for him and Jinguji-kun” Sakura wondered.
“…What do you mean?” Rei asked.
“He told me before, that he got the tickets for him and Jinguji-kun only. He said he wanted to confess to Jinguji-kun there” Sakura explained.
Rei looked at Sakura weirdly, trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together in her head. She was too confused for words. What does Sakura mean by confess?
“Didn’t he tell you? That he likes Jinguji-kun?” Sakura asked.
Okay now Rei finds that statement very impossible but it’s coming from Sakura, Genki’s cousin. She didn’t know Genki swings that way.
“He didn’t” Rei said.
“…Oh… I thought you knew… since you guys are close” Sakura said, she felt a little guilty though for revealing about Genki’s feelings to Rei. But it was only because she thought Rei knows since they’re often together.
“Can you just keep this between us? I don’t want Genki to get hurt like last time” Sakura continued.
Like last time? “What last time?” Rei asked.
“Um… You see… during 5th grade primary school, he liked this kid… and when Genki confessed to him, that guy ended up bullying Genki for being… you know” Sakura hinted. “and his dad found out that he’s like that, he got upset and beats Genki… even now sometimes, so Genki often return to my place when he feels scared to go home after school.” She stopped when she realize she was talking too much. “I think I went too far”
Rei didn’t know that. She didn’t know that at all. Genki is always ‘Genki’ around them. He never show signs of sadness, he never really talks about his family.
“No, that’s alright…” Rei replied but she was actually puzzled.
Rei couldn’t look at Genki the same again after what Sakura have told her. The only people she knew that are gay is her own parents. But she didn’t expect to have one as a friend. And to make it even worse, the person Genki likes is Jinguji. And that makes them rivals right? She wasn’t sure though since she didn’t tell anyone that she likes Jinguji.
“So, what did you guys do to Miyachika?” Rei asked when she and Jinguji were changing shoes at the shoe locker.
“Genki gave him a warning and Miyachika got an earful” Genki widen his eyes. He just couldn’t believe that Genki could be that scary. “How’s Sakura?”
“She’s fine. And oh, we need an extra ticket to the aquarium since I kinda invite Sakura” Rei said, looking elsewhere.
“Hey guys” Genki came over to them in his baseball uniform.
“Practice again huh?” Jinguji asked.
“Yeah. It can’t be help. Sorry that I have to abandon you guys again” Genki apologized since he promised to go watch movie together after school.
“That’s fineee~” Jinguji reassured. “By the way, Sakura is coming with us to the aquarium. And we’ll pay for her ticket this time” He insisted.
“Oh…Sure” Genki nodded. “The more the merrier”
Rei was standing there, she just couldn’t believe it as she observe Genki’s movements, gestures, reactions everything! and the moment Jinguji mentioned that Sakura is going too, she was sure she saw Genki’s slight rejected expression.
“Hellooooo~ earth to Reiii~” Jinguji waved his hand infront of Rei’s face.
“Huh” Rei snapped out of her thoughts. “What?”
“We’ll pay for Sakura’s ticket this time. Sicne Genki paid for ours” Jinguji repeated his suggestion.
“su-sure” Rei agreed.
“You okay, Rei?” Genki asked.
“I’m fine!” Rei answered instantly. “Just uh… WALRUS! I was walrus, thinking” She faked laughed. “Can’t wait to see them! Jingu! Let’s go watch the movie!!” She grinned and close the door of her shoe locker and went out of the building.
“... okay something is wrong with her and you will have to ask her before she blows her own mind. Can I trust you with that, Jingu?” Genki asked sarcastically.
“Definitely” Jingu aghast. Still wondered what’s going on with Rei. “I thought she likes barracudas” He muttered.

Takaki broke the kiss and kept his head close to Inoo while calming their breaths. He would give kisses to Inoo’s sweaty forehead, his cheek, his nose, then to his lips in process. Inoo whimpered when Takaki moved a little because he was still inside him.
He felt so grateful for Takaki’s principle for giving him half day work for today. And when Takaki arrived home, they watched a bit of a movie, Listening to Takaki’s story of his fun time at work and one thing led to another, they ended up doing it, no restrain, since it was still early and Rei’s gonna be home at night, they got all the time they need. He has never had sex with Takaki more than three times a day since… their university days! And the exhaustion in the end was all worth it. He pulled Takaki down with his hands around Takaki’s neck and kiss Takaki’s forehead.
Takaki almost want to kick himself for leaving bite marks allover Inoo’s body, not to mention some are even at the place where it couldn’t be hidden. He knew that he should limit himself with that but he was too caught up in the love making that he forgot to stop himself. Not to mention their sweaty bodies pressed up against eachother may turn him on if he didn’t have control.
“Wow…” Inoo voiced out. “That was…” Inoo was still trying to catch his breath.
“Long?” Takaki guessed Inoo’s continuation.
“And amazing”
Takaki chuckled a bit then he looked at Inoo’s eyes. “I know I’ve been saying this a lot-“
“I love you too” Inoo said before Takaki could even say it. “I gotta take shower…and make dinner” He added.
“Fine” Takaki gave in and both of them got off the bed and took a shower.

“Where do you think we should go this Sunday?” Takaki asked, playing with the cabbage on the table.
“Hm….why?” Inoo answered as he stirred the soup with the spoon.
“Since Reichan is going out with her friends. We should do something together this weekend. I mean we ever hardly go out now” Takaki stated.
“Sex?” Inoo said bluntly
Takaki felt like stabbing himself, because that is the most wonderful opportunity to do in the weekends, but other than sex like something else to do outside.
“I’m kidding” Inoo chuckled. And Takaki sigh in relief. “Well… I guess we can visit your family” Inoo suggested. “I kind of miss the twins” Takaki’s younger twin siblings, Yuzuru and Yukari.
“Those brats” Takaki twitched his upper lips upon the mention of his siblings as recall all of the moments his twins siblings used him as a transport, getting piggybacks etc.
Inoo chuckled. “It feels so nice you know~” He sigh. “Taking care of little kids. I miss carrying Reichan and the way she would hug my face with her small arms… or when she would sit with me while I do my homework” Inoo didn’t realize it, but he smiled. “or when she tried to help me with folding clothes… feeding her, changing her diapers” He laughed.
Takaki could only stare at Inoo’s back silently. He was there for half of Rei’s lives; he knows how Inoo looks at Rei when she was small. Inoo was the best parent Rei could ever have and he admires Inoo for that.
“I miss all that” Inoo muttered. He pour the soup from the pan to the bowl and place the pan in the sink. Then he felt a pair of arms wrapping around his shoulder from behind.
“Yuya?”
“I miss watching you brush Rei’s hair… She was so little back then…” Takaki murmured against Inoo’s hair. “But now she’s all grown up and stubborn”
Inoo laughed at the last part. “Well that’s only because you never let her win in arguments” He pointed out.
“Kei…”
“What?”
“… How about adopting?” Takaki whispered against Inoo’s ear.
Inoo turn around after hearing that. “What do you mean by adopting?”
“… We… can adopt a child from the orphanage… I mean… wouldn’t it be better if Rei has a sister? Or a brother?” Takaki suggested. “and you took care of rei so good…” He added.
Inoo smiled at Takaki. “As much as I miss taking care of a child… I don’t think it’s a good idea… “
“Why?”
“I love Rei… and only her” Inoo said, He wanted to say more, like he was scared to get too attached to another one like how he is attached to Rei. Or two gay parents would cause a problem.
“… Okay” Takaki nodded understandingly. He kissed Inoo on the forehead. “But in case if you ever change your mind… just tell me” He continued.

The next day Inoo spent it by cleaning the living room area. It didn’t take a long time since the living room isn’t big. He took out the laundry, changing the bed sheets, ironing the clothes, making muffins for Rei and Takaki. He was restless.
“Almost done” He murmured when he was putting cream onto of the muffins, one by one.
*knock*knock*knock*
Inoo paused then he heard the door knock again. He place the can of cream on the table and wipe his hands against his apron. We should seriously get a doorbell.He thought as he walked towards the door.
The moment he open the door Matsumoto storm in and shock Inoo. What’s more confusing is that how Matsumoto know where he lives.
“What the heck were you thinking, quitting your job like it’s nothing?! Leaving the freaking fucked up project to the Yoshizawa group and what the fuck are you risking, huh?! It’s the one thing you can do and the only thing you can’t solve right! What, you think leaving the company would save your family? For a smart person to think of running away from it is too fucking ridiculous!” Matsumoto finally stop his anger once he saw Inoo backing away.
“…Get out” Inoo managed to say.
“I’m not getting out of here until I get an explanation” Matsumoto threw his bag to the couch and crossing his hands against his chest.
“It’s none of your business, Matsumoto” Inoo said at once.
“I want an explanation” Matsumoto demanded.
“Why can’t you just leave me alone? Why does it bother you so much that I left? My boss let me quit anyway so you got nothing to worry.”
“Is it because of me?” Matsumoto asked.
“…No…” Inoo murmured. “Well… some of it… “He changed is answer. “Matsumoto, I’m with Yuya, okay? I don’t want to do anything to hurt him”
“I know that”
“Then what do you want from me?”
“I…” I want you. Something Matsumoto can never say. “I… just want to know if you’re alright…”
“Well I’m fine” Inoo answered. “You can leave”
“No… Let me help” Matsumoto offered. “But first I’m sorry… for barging in… and yelling at you…” He apologizes.
Inoo nodded, accepting his apologies.
“I just… felt lonely without you there… I mean, personally to me… I can calm down whenever I see you at work… but now that you’re not… I feel troubled” He said honestly.
“… I’m sorry… I didn’t tell you about it” Inoo apologize in return.
“Please come back Inoo… I’ll protect you there” Matsumoto pleaded.
“No”
“Please, I’ll do anything for you to come back” He pleased again.
“I said No okay” Inoo said, a little bit angry. “I never really like that place anyway”
“I’ll help you look for another job then” He stated.
“You don’t have to” Inoo declined.
Then at the same time Takaki arrived at the doorstep and seeing Matsumoto there the first thing he came back home… he felt like throwing his candy (a huge lollipop he received from the kids at kindergarten) at Matsumoto’s face.
“Oh…” Matsumoto noticed Takaki. “I was just leaving” He fake a smile and grab his bag. “So, Inoo… I’ll call you if I find any architecture jobs”
Inoo noticed Matsumoto’s hints, to just go with it. “Thanks… I appreciate that” He replied.
“Good night” He said and left the place.
“… Is everything okay?” Takaki asked worriedly.
“Yeah” Inoo nodded.
Matsumoto walked out of the building and got into a car at the passenger’s seat. “He won’t come back” He said to the person on the driver’s seat.
“… Well you tried” The other person replied. “Now that I know where he lives… that’s good enough”
“… What do you mean?” Matsumoto asked.
“Is he alone?” The person asked.
“I guess by the day he is… since his child goes to school and his husband goes to work” Matsumoto answered.
“…good” He smirked.
Matsumoto understood that expression and he didn’t like it at all and his expectation made him even more worried. “If you lay a finger on Inoo, I swear I will kill you” Matsumoto warned.
“Get out of the car Matsumoto” He said in a deep tone.
Matsumoto felt like punching the guy next to him, but that’s impossible since he’s a member of a yakuza and he got out of the car. But the most unexpected thing happened at the same time, Rei and Jinguji were there, walking home from school and witnessed with their own eyes in horror…
The moment Matsumoto walked further already, the car drove and hit him.
