Every time I go somewhere else for a lengthy period of time, even if I like the new place, I become rapidly more attached to Rochester at the same time. I love my hometown now much more than I did in August of 2006.
Glad to know I'm not alone in thinking the drive is worth it. A lot of people tell me that I'm being dumb when I don't sublease, but they can screw off.
Girl! Sublease! You can get one for soooooooooo cheap right now, plus you will have so much more time to do homework and focus on SCHOOL. Trust me, I've done stuff like that before, and driving an hour both ways each day SUCKS. You get burnt out sooo fast. It won't be worth it. Just sublease for really cheap. Plus you'll spend more in gas if you drive, I guarantee it. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time on weekends or even after you graduate to hang at home. Trust me, most people end up moving back home for at least a little while.
If you drive you'll be too tired to do card nights and stuff.
You do realize that 69 is going to be down to one lane in both directions for a good part of the summer, right?
I didn't realize you were taking classes AND working...in that case I think you should definitely sublease. Much easier economically and way less stressful. You'll still manage to find time to spend at home.
