mmmmmmmmmm i love indian. If theres one good thing the empire has ever given anyone, its lots of lovely tandooris dotted up and down every parade of shops. Sod all the imperialist bastards that were the british, at least its the legal right (and obligation) of every man, woman and child to be able to obtain a decent curry within a 10 minute radius

Heh. I wore a tutu ONCE and once only, and that was bad enough. I'm glad you didn't have to do that.
And I wonder why you're friend didn't tell everyone you couldn't make it? Odd.
Hope you find a pretty computer. :) And btw, THE QUILL IS BACK! Not forums, yet, but still! Whoo and may i add, HOO!

when I was little I had to do ballet in the summer holidays when mum was working. I had to wear tutus :( the scars! the scars!
She didn't tell them because she didnt go in the end either I found out today. (she isnt the girl i was moaning about earlier so its unlikely she did anything maliciously)
mmmmmmmm curry with soupy. Yet more chance to get yellow stuff all over me :)

Tutus. Oh, you poor things. *hugs*
And I'm glad it probably wasn't anything malicious, and I think we need more opportunities to get hiccups in resteraunts. :D

It's interesting that you should mention the thumb sucking thing. I never did it, but my sister was the biggest thumb sucker in the world. She stopped late in her life too (14 sound about right).
Good luck on the computer hunt!! Hopefully it'll be short and sweet like mine was. *huggles her computer* All I wanted was a laptop with a DVD ROM and a CD RW Drive. I got it, and now I'm one happy puppy.
Or . . . I would be if only I had a scanner :(

Grrrrrrrrrr
I haven't had a decent curry since.... uh....
I haven't had any curry since the end of April, when I left Britain. Despite rumours to the contrary, Indian food is near impossible to get in the Philadelphia suburbs. It's still considered pretty exotic here in America.
