Anyway, yea. Meh, neither one is great, and at least we know how Bush screws up things.

People fear that which they do not understand. Nationally, gay marraige can't be banned...it's unconstitutional to legally discriminate in this country. I'm not quite sure what the difference is between civil unions and marraiges, but I do know that there are 1049 Federal Rights that do NOT make civil unions the same as marraige, one of which is that civil unions are only recognized on a state level.
