Hang in there Rockstar, take a deep breath, hey how about a single malt scotch? Oh sure you can have the whole bottle if you want. Just expect this is going to continue to be painful for you for a few days or weeks until he settles into a comfort zone with it.

My 73 year old mother is always calling us to do IT support over the phone and sometimes it just takes hours. I usually pass her off to someone else in the house with more patience or I just bring up a screen of spider solitaire to pass the time until the crisis works its way out.

He's up to his third laptop. The man did budgets for the Navy. He's forgotten more about Excel than I will ever know. He should be able to find the damn CD drive.

It was a bit better today. He asked me how to make the font bigger and found his CD/DVD drive.
