Thoughts on HnA ending

Though HnA has ended like half a month ago, I think this is the appropriate time to write some thoughts about this. I need time to view the matter more objectively, after all.

At first, I was super sad that HnA was going to end. The termination means that this show is not popular anymore. But now, thinking about it, I think it's the right time. The show depends so much on the guests, and Arashi members need to work their way around the guest's character to make the show interesting. I find that most of the time, the show just turns a big promo event for the guest's movie/drama/single... Well, it happens to VSA and AniS too, but at least they have more interesting stuff to do other than talking and cooking.

With the ending of the show, there are individual works assigned to members. Honestly, I don't think I'm gonna watch them. This can sound cruel, but the Sho, Nino or Aiba on individual shows don't appeal to me as much as the Sho, Nino or Aiba in Arashi. Well, I like them in dramas and all, but I don't like them as hosts of those shows that much. Or maybe, I just need some time to get used to it. Aiba's show sounds interesting enough. But still, there is this fear in me that by going on individual shows, they can't focus on being Arashi that much anymore. I know idol's life is evanescent, but I want Arashi to go on as long as possible. They are great together and I hope Johnny-san sees that.

I really want them to go back to their old kind of variety shows. It's hard to do something like Mago Mago Arashi now. But those C/D/G no Arashi are quite feasible. Remember Ohno's Arashi no Asu ni Kakeru Tabi? It was damn interesting that way!!! Please, more experiments and stupid stuff, please!!!
