The bridge that took three years to make and slightly less time to pave has finally been opened to the public. The last day for the ferries that took people to and from the island to the mainland sailed their last journey on Tuesday the 18th. so you've already decided to recontract? it sounds like it will be a tougher deal next year. i hope they'll reconsider giving you another school in another location. i'm sure you're already quite busy with your schedule as it. hang in there, jachan!

and i hope the accidents remain scarce as the islanders get used to commuting across the bridge via their cars.

No, no, no. I'm planning on not re-contracting another year. I don't want to have more responsibility with no financial recompense. So far, I've gotten a few comments from my BOE supervisor, saying, "Your principals say that you're doing a great job! (They'd probably hate to see you leave."...as if an "'Atta, girl!" is gonna make me want to re-contract. lol Sorry for the confusion! ^__^'

okies! i was a little confused. it sounded like you weren't planning on recontracting but that you decided not to "not recontract." lol. i'm sure your BOE knows they'll be a little more troubled without you. i think you probably made things much more pleasant for them. enjoy your last year!!
