A "Wow!" kinda afternoon

So, yesterday at Yutaka Elementary I (dare I say it?) "team-taught" with alternately the 5th grade homeroom teacher and sixth grade homeroom teacher during fifth and sixth periods. I'm glad it went so wel! I always like it when I talk with teachers before a class, especially a demonstration, but it looks like you've definitely made an impact on your schools and the kids. That's awesome, yo! *Janitha power punch* I miss the icons on my phone. haha.

I never wonder about what the other teachers think about me until I hear them talk about it. I remember thinking a couple of years ago that the six graders didn't like me when they actually did! They were all like, "Janitha, let's take a picture. C'mon!!" I was so surprised. I think I'm inclined to think that people see more of my flaws, like I do. How odd when I turn out to be wrong. o.O lol

Thanks, Malia! It's really invigorating when something goes well. It's surely a good thing that I don't go around with my nose stuck in the air all the time. Nice to hear good feedback/constructive criticism. I think I will try to make the Toyoshima lesson good ones. You've given me some energy to try!
