A pleasant visit to my teacher's house.

So. Several months ago, my lovely English teacher Mr. Uekiyo invited me to come over his house sometime. We decided on a month, but I told him that it was up to his wife to choose the weekend. I didn't want to stress her out. (I've had experience with gatherings here, and there's always more work for the host/hostess. I guess that's obvious, though

it sounds like you had a fantastic time with the uekiyo family. they sound like an awesome bunch. and i agree with lilly on how great it is that the japanese emphasize musical knowledge. i wish i knew i how to play an instrument. and it sounds like you and the two kids were having a little jam session going. nice!

Yeah, it was totally cool!! I hope the kids enjoyed the impromptu recital. I hope I get a chance to visit them again. Taro mentioned inviting me to a Christmas party at his school/somewhere, but... :( Maybe I can come back for a visit next year? ^_^
