That's awesome! Sounds like a lot of fun. At the science center, we have a pitching machine thing where you get to throw a wiffle ball and it tells you how fast you are...I've gotten a wiffle ball going like 20 MPH or something...but when I threw the baseball at the stadium at the same kind of machine, I could only get up to like 30 MPH...so nicely done! lol

I'm great at hitting a ball that is flying at me. I just never said I'm good at hitting it with the bat. It, however, seems particularly adept at colliding with my body.

When they play the "Who wants to be a mariner?" game, do they actually give that money away?

No, the grand prize was a trip for two to spring training. I ended up scoring some free tickets, because since we already had season tickets, the goal was to win the whole damn thing.
