This was absolutely great! You've managed to capture the characters very well. Loved the whole part with Lassiter going the wrong way during his "dramatic exit." :)

Aw, this was just so... if you could make "yaysquee!" into an actual word, that's what this would be. You have the perfect balance of Shawn walking the line both in his investigations and in his relationship with Lassiter. Your characterization is also amazing -- this reads like it could have come straight out of an actual episode. Thanks so much for sharing; it was definitely a fun read!
