that's as far as i wish to go. i talk all too much about... denny's. evilll.
though, i do recall a few nights ago... it was chill, but not too chill to go outside and burn one. the bank's lights were turned off, and the moon illuminated the fog creeping over front street. as my breath escaped me, it turned into exceptionally crystaline haze. i felt the sky sink through my pupils and into my occipital sensory receptors. it blended with cortical tissue, entwined with grey matter and dancing through my telencephalon. i became it. the sky became me. we're timeless. in a breath, everything became obsolete and decrepit. transitions between new and old worlds occured synchronized with the beats of my heart. existence was a flame, bound to be extinguished.
then, i return. nothing's an inch from where it was last. quiet. brisk. suddenly noticeably transient. wonderfully and terribly transient.
wonderfully and terribly.
