Um, Professor Yana's a villain? Colour me confused. Fobwatched Time Lords are pretty much separate entities (John Smith =/= the Doctor, and Yana =/= the Master), so if you're saying that it isn't the Master who's your favourite villian, how can you then use the fact that the Master is a crazy psychopath to label Yana as a villian? Because Yana himself is about as far from a villain as they come.

Hmm...*scampers off to watch that scene again* Ah...I messed up. Didn't remember that scene as well as I thought. XD

Well, what I meant was right after he opened the fob watch, when he still looked like Yana but was really the Master at this point, but I hadn't known that. So perhaps if I say Yana Master it would make more sense? It was just more of a shock factor while he was still in that particular body. After that his appeal just sort of tapered off for me. So essentially I suppose I do like the Master, but only before he regenerates in the TARDIS. If that makes any sense whatsoever. XD

When I watched Utopia I knew nothing about Classic Who at all, so I didn't even know there'd ever been other Time Lords, and I was pretty much as baffled as Martha the entire scene. And then when he was all "MY NAME IS THE MASTER!" I was like "that's the best name they could come up with?" I like whacky John Simm Master myself, but I agree that he's not very scary at all, just sort of... whacky.

Midnight is such a good, creepy/disturbing episode. Probably I think the most disturbing, since ~HUMANS ARE THE VILLAINS!!! :O~ is more accessible than statue monsters and whatever other kind of sci-fi-y threat the other creepy episodes have.

Me either, so I was all "ZOMG he's really not alone!" and then the Master turned into a psycho who really didn't help the matter because, again, Ten just can't have nice things. No soup for him! I was also hoping the Master would have plans outside taking over the universe and/or destroying it but no dice. Still, I enjoyed his storyline well enough. At least it wasn't the Daleks again. XD

It was between the Midnight thing and the empty child, but the happy ending for Jaime smooths everything over. So unnamed thing wins out. I will never see playing copy-cat the same ever again.

Oh, the FEZ! Love, the fez... that clip made me giggle too.

And I have to agree with you on Midnight's monster-of-the-week, that episode was one of the few where I really was hiding behind the sofa. (The other was for the Vashta Nerada... until they started wearing space suits.)
