-You know that whole deal with The Face of Boe and how we're left with the impression that it's actually Jack? I don't buy it. Have you heard The Face of Boe's themes? Doesn't sound anything like Jack. I don't care how

I would love it if s6 had a bit more emotional oomph! And as much as I love Karen and Arthur, I would... like it most if they left, I think -- it just adds more suspense to the story when you know the main characters leave in some way. Knowing Karen was signed up for s6 took most of the "omg!" out of Amy's "death", and hinging so much of it on whether or not the Doctor would be erased from time (of course not! he's the star!) didn't really generate much worry in my either. Amy and Rory don't HAVE to leave on a sad note, but at least if I know they're leaving I can be worried that they might. If I know they're staying, well... that's that, isn't it? Plus, I would love to see Eleven with some other companions. I loved how all of Ten's companions brought something new to the table and to his character, Eleven could use some of that. I'd be okay with the Ponds making cameos after they stop travelling, though.

After the shock-and-awe effect is gone, you're left with a universe reboot, which would mean no Doctor, but the Time Lords are
