This weekend's hair : long loose extensions in black and purple for aeia, using Pro Styles Natural Wave hair, which has a lot of natural movement. We used black [obviously] and two shades of purple, which we blended to create the third main shade. Lilac silky jumbo was used for the accent braids ( Read more... )

Last night was mostly spent giving Francis long loose extensions, using Yaki Pony hair that matches the curl in her natural hair.

Today the bunniez were mostly giving emmelinemay long loose hair extensions despite her cold. We used Pro-Styles hair for the first time. It feels lovely to work with - fingers crossed that it wears well, and then we'll be able to recommend it to all.

Plus we remembered the ever elusive *before* pictures - bunniez are forgetful creatures.

RAR people have found our little hair shrine :)

Back in the spring we did this head of plastic hair - the additional photo shows the end of stage one - plaiting her real hair with coloured wool for strength, bulk, and colour continuity. This, however, is the finished do. She never *did* send us any photos of her dressed up with this hair [*pokes Raven*}

Jenna of Spooky Locks made herself some very lovely black and purple dreads, and roped in the assistance of one of the hairbunniez to atatch them. And they look glorious ;)

ED's very fine shoulder length hair was braided with synthetic hair, and then these braids were wrapped with the synthetic hair, which was teased, dreaded and sealed with a hairdryer and then steam. Her real hair was not dreaded at all. She asked for random colour combinations, and I think we only repeated two combinations over the whole head - ( Read more... )

Danni's shoulder length hair was braided with Flame coloured colinette wool, with some extra lengths latch-hooked through the roots for volume. This style was finished with some highlight lengths of UV reactive rex-lace. This took about 6 hours to do, and lasted for 8 to 10 weeks ( Read more... )
