Character Personality:
One's first impression of Finny is that of a bubbly, child-like young man with seemingly boundless enthusiasm for his job and a strong willingness to please. He is happiest when outside enjoying the sunshine and fresh air, especially if he's able to share it with his co-workers and Ciel. Even for those visiting the grounds, he does his best to be friendly and cheerful. The childishness can show itself in less beneficial ways as well, as he also is prone to crying over his mistakes very easily. Partially this is because he is afraid of being scolded. Yet, as many times as he fails at his work, he's always determined to try again and do it better in the future. This is a good thing, considering that his incredible strength causes him to fail at gardening on a regular basis. Most of the time, Sebastian the butler has to clean up the messes he makes and considers him to be 'a moron'. Above all, Finny is filled with a great desire to see his Young Master happy, even if it seems that the task is quite impossible. He considers the mansion his home, and the people within it his family. When it comes to Sebastian, he looks up to him with great reverence, and he's as eager to please him as he is with Ciel.

Beneath the sunny exterior, however, there is a darker side to Finny. His time in isolation at the hands of the scientists who tested injections on him left more than just a mark on his neck; it left some scars inside that remain painful for him still. When he's reminded of his past despair, it's not unusual for Finny to quietly close in on himself. It is because he was locked away for so long, only allowed to see the sun through a small window and experience the outside world through the bird that would come to visit him, that he finds his greatest joy in being able to go outside whenever and for as long as he wants. It is also the reason that he is very fond of birds, and quite protective of them as well. The only physical reminder of his confinement is the code 'S-012' tattooed on his neck, which he hides with the straw hat given to him by Ciel. The straw hat is a very valuable possession to Finny, and he does not react favorably when others try and steal it from him.

Even deeper still, lies the intensity with which Finnian carries out his orders to protect both Ciel and the mansion at all costs. Those who have tried to infiltrate the grounds only get a single polite warning before the young man goes into attack mode. Though usually not violent by any stretch of the imagination, it is shown that Finny is not above killing someone if that's what it takes to prevent them from entering when Ciel is away. His reasoning is that his Young Master never performed experiments on him or made him fight his friends, and he considers himself to be forever in his debt. He worries for the boy's safety and well-being immensely, wishing to shield him from emotional harm as well as the physical kind. It's not hard to come to the conclusion that if he had to give up his own life to protect the mansion and Ciel, he would most certainly do so.

Character Plans: I'd imagine upon arriving after sirens, he'd be quite confused and terrified. He's more than capable of protecting himself, however, and once he's cornered he'll likely be tossing monsters around even as he's bawling in fear. Once he makes contact with Ciel, he'll very likely want to move into the estate in Siren's Port and continue his duties from home. He'll be likely to be glad to make all kinds of new friends from other worlds as well.

[The video starts out with the blurry zoomed-in view of a teal colored iris.]

Nn. How does this work? It's... like a tiny typewriter but where are these pictures coming from? So confusing! But the nice Mr. Greeter said if I pressed this button, I'd be able to talk to other people... so... I hope this works!

[There's a muttering off screen.]

Huh? Oh, OK!

[The device is pulled away from the user, and now his full face can be seen. It's wide-eyed and still clearly confused, but manages a nervous smile anyway.]

Hello! Everyone! In this... Siren's Port! My name is Finnian! I'm really really sorry if I'm bothering anyone, but I'm looking for my Young Master! He's small... and he frowns all the time, like this!

[Sure enough, Finnian attempts his best sour expression. It's perhaps more than a tad exaggerated.]

Oh, oh! And he has an eyepatch! And he may be with his butler, Mr. Sebastian! He doesn't frown as much, but he's super amazing and can do chores really fast! Oh, and he has long black hair and red eyes!

Ah! And my Young Master's name is Ciel Phantomhive! If someone knows where he is, I'd be very grateful! Th-thank you!

Is it off now? Did I press the right bu--

It was all simply too much for him to take in all at once. What was a moment before the warm comfort of his bed was now cold, rough ground. It wasn't that sensation that caused his entire body to be gripped by fear, however. It was the sound that came shortly after. Subconsciously, he ran through every sound he'd ever heard before in his life. Not finding this one in his library caused him to sit bolt upright, eyes stung by the bright glare of the streetlight above. Of course, Finny didn't know it was a streetlight, and thus it only caused his fear to heighten.

He looked around him, and only found his surroundings deepened his confusion and panic. All around him were strange structures, strange noises, and even strange smells.

"Wh-where... where...?" he stammered to nobody.

Out of instinct, he ran. In fact, he ran right past the dugout and the Greeter who was exiting the structure to try and wave him down. The sound of someone calling out to him only made him run faster. The flood of new and perplexing information all around him muddled his thinking, and only once he'd gotten himself nice and lost at a dead end did he start to wonder if maybe he should have paid attention to the person calling after him.

For now there was nobody. Even in the dead of night on the streets of London you might find a Bobby doing his rounds, or a lady of the evening keeping an eye out for potential clients. Here, the streets were absolutely bare, and every building was sealed up tight. The only sound the young man could hear was that of his own heavy breath from the previous exertion.

That was until the sound of flesh sliding against concrete found his ears. Quickly he turned around, and just as quickly a surprised scream escaped his throat. Sliding towards him was a massive pile of skin and fat, its soulless eyes seeming to pierce right through him. Out of instinct, Finnian tried to take a step away from the beast, only to be reminded that there was nothing there but a solid brick wall.

The Fat Bastard continued to edge closer, strings of saliva dripping down its many chins as it closed in on what seemed like delicious prey.

It never saw the attack coming.

In less than a second, the cornered teen rushed forward, eyes screwed tightly shut in fear. He reached out, grabbing a single roll of fat in his small hands. It was enough for him to be able to pull the gargantuan monster right off the ground. With a frightened scream he spun the creature around once, twice, and then sent it hurtling towards the side of a nearby building.

Finnian didn't stick around to see the result of his throw, however. Tears streaming down his cheeks, he vanished into the night.
