last night i did an awsome haircut. it was done dry and it was really nice. I had perfect control of the way the layers were going to fall and look. I loved it. It was such an improvement. Rule of thumb.... whenever a woman says take off two inches.. take off only ONE!!!!!

I know what you mean. I am so meh about my hair. I don't ever completely like or dislike it, but I know the difference between a trim and a cut and I have never been unhappy with a stylist, because in the end- hair grows back.

Some people take thier hair too seriously I think.

believe it or not 95% of the hairdressers do drycutting compeletly wrong. It's a technique that started in france and perfected by my old boss and has been taught to less then 20 people in the world.

honestly they're just franchised salons. The only Aveda salon there is in Mineapolis and NYC. And the only person who teaches dry cutting in the whole corporation is this dude John Raymond. He's an educator for Aveda but he's trained at Vidal Sasson. I used to assist at the same salon he was at. I've seen his technique lots of time. I don't think there's any other person but himself who can do it the way he does it. It's his own personal style

I have not gotten a hair cut since my one with Nick in March. (!!)
Dude...that's a long time. I probably look like Cousin It. (too scared to look in the mirror and find out...I just keep buying cute hats :-) )

I'm finnaly sucking it up and getting one in a couple weeks though. I searched a looooong time for someone I could trust with my hair. Dang, once you go Arrojo it's hard to go back.
