So, HP is all done, and these days it's weird, seeing as there's not much to look forward to on that front, aside from the odd fanfic here and there

Oh, I love the changes you made - now H/G are together having a normal courtship and a sunlit day! Why didn't JKR give us something like this in HBP? Why?
I also like the Romilda Vane banter and Harry's thoughts about Snape. It will be interesting to see what you do with that thread of your story now that DH has come out.
I love your descriptions of Ginny from Harry's POV - he's so smitten with her but there's a sense of tenderness I really like. I also love your characterization of Ginny - she leaps off of the page with her lively banter and the way you describe her bright hair and daring flying.
I'm so glad to read something by you again! This was lovely!
Was it worth waiting all this time for me to finally write a proper kiss between the two? lol In view of the serious lack of Ginny in DH, it seemed necessary to dispense with all the "will they or won't they?" stuff and cut straight to what is important. It let me be more succinct about it all, too.
I'm rather fond of the Romilda banter as well. ;) The idea of Snape in love with Lily horrifies me to this day; never before has an idea I'd disparaged come back to haunt my being dead wrong to such a drastic extent. I suppose I've adjusted to the idea, and I'm thinking on ways to include it, but man is it ever bizarre.
I'm glad their relationship comes off well here. Personal experience no doubt plays some part in the way I write it this time around. :)
I couldn't remember if you liked the Snape/Lily theories or not. I thought it was likely - but it is very gothic novel. I wasn't crazy about Harry as a Horcrux, but it made perfect sense. Of all the surprises and disappointments, Ginny's role was the biggest for me.
I'm interested to see where it goes, too! lol I'm still working it all out. I'm glad the changes work the way they should. My poor first chapter, it's been revised more times than I can count, but finally this is the definitive version.
