The other day Ben and I picked up my little sister to go to a concert. The first thing she said to me was "Tiff....I met a guy." She had a huge smile on her face, like she just couldn't contain her excitement, so Ben and I just laughed and thought it was cute. Then she hands me a picture of him and I realize he looks a little old for my 15-year-

Than how come she doesn't want to date a 12 year old from church? & just because you meet a guy from church doesn't mean he mean he's not human. It's human nature for a 18 year old guy to have a sex drive. Even though he says sex is not on his agenda, doesn't mean it'll never happen. & I'm not so sure he would be totally opposed to the idea. Personally I don't think an 18 year old should not be dating a 15 year old. I understand why you would be worried. I would be too! Plus, if they only had one date & they already French kissed, I highly doubt he's gonna wanna stop there.

I agree with Rachel and I think you have every right to be worried. And not to sound rude but it's the truth that MOST people who say they are going to wait til marriage end up marrying young so they don't have to wait all that long. If this guy is 18 he might try to marry your sister once HE is out of highschool. I know she is probably a smart girl like you but I've come to realize that men are sneaky and even the smartest of gals can be fooled. Plus like I said I agree with Rachel and while he might say he wants to wait he might not mean it. And he can pull out the sweet talk to make her put out! And this guy could also be a "technical virgin" and have done everything BUT actual intercourse which isn't much better. I hope he treats her with respect. And as I always say if you can't tell people you're having sex (or even kissing) then maybe you aren't ready to be dating

I would be worried about your sister too, but unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. Because the more you tell someoen not to do something, the more they are just going to do it.
