I’m so sorry to hear that, Tiffy. It sounds like Ben & his dad were very close. I’m sure that there wasn’t a day of Steve’s life that went by where he didn’t feel blessed for having such a loving, caring & wonderful family. Just be thankful for the times that you were able to spend with him. And keep in mind that he’s in heaven now. I think the words to this Steven Curtis Chapman song couldn’t be more fitting:
“We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again....”

Thank you so much! That was very uplifting. His funeral is today and I'm planning on writing a tribute. Maybe I'll post it in my journal later. :)
