that's it. I'm starting my own sexual revolution. Time for men to take back the night... (yeah, if i was serious about that, i should be beaten...).

However, I do see one good point. I think the idea of men being portrayed as bad fathers and bad husbands could have a negative impact on children watching this today. We still watch lots of tv, and young boys are seeing this men who are slow, slovenly, stupid, and drunk a lot. Now, it's true that fathers in 50's-60's tv were not good role models as to how to treat women, but I still see how this could affect the kids today. Hopefully they have good, upstanding parents...

Grr. Argh. I never thought that was fair. Even when I was five I didn't like how Papa "Berenstein" Bear was always much, much dumber and clumsier than his wife.

You know what? I think they are trying to potray the guys in a cute light to woman. Like they aren't the smartest when it comes to things, but at least they try! I think woman find it appealing and love slightly goofy men. It's so true when Drew does something stupid I just think it's the cutest thing ever! And when I watch some of those shows I think "aww I want a husband like that ( ... )

Good point about the period thing!! I'm glad Ben never asks me if it's "my time of the month" or anything...but I think that's because I'm pretty equally moody all month. :) hehe
