Most of you seem to trust these ridiculous plants! I find it amusing that no one suspects them. After the 'mistletoe,' aren't any of you concerned? Their unnatural growth could easily indicate danger or poison.

Hmph. No wonder the Scientists still enjoy their experiments. Or do they? It's relatively peaceful compared to when I arrived.

I understand your point, Saburo-san. I have been taking notes of mine... Hopefully it won't be poisonous....

Alright... Where does Saburo-san wish to meet at? [He has a bit of a worried tone in his voice]

Perhaps they're harmless... but hardly anyone seems to be considering otherwise.

The location isn't important. Where are you now?

Hospital... would it be already to meet on the roof?

I will meet you there in fifteen minutes.

[And with that, he headed out of the industrial district and toward the hospital. He was (inadvertently) wearing the scarf Cube gave him, but otherwise looked his normal self... aside from the odd bundle of clothing he carried under one arm.

Once he reached the hospital, Saburo made his way to the roof with ease. The last time he'd been up here, he was looking for the disappeared Cube, and for much the same reason as he sought his presence now. One of the reasons. The most important one.

Yet, he couldn't quite guess the outcome of this exchange. No matter, he'd know soon enough. He glanced around the worn roof structure for any sign of the little demon.]

If they're stupid enough to grow or eat the plants, then they deserve whatever the consequences might be.

Their reactions are irritating. It's a repeating pattern...and if the plants turn out to be harmless, one of the less amusing ones.

They're just gullible, as always. That's never going to change.

They're no better than lab rats.

I suspect the scientists are pulling another "prank".

No one seems to mind this one.

Are you also suspicious of their intent?

Most of them are. [Not that he minds... he considers that stuff amusing.] Easy trust in the few harmless ones isn't at all cautious.

I wouldn't mistake care and enjoyment of the few things that aren't harmful as not being cautious. For some, it's easy to see what isn't going to be harmful.

Hmph. In a 'normal world,' I might agree with you. Something like mistletoe isn't often harmful either.

Is that a healthy survival instinct? If you confront many burning and damaged bridges, to simply wander over another one without a second thought?

To their own downfall then, not that it's any of my concern!
