I haven't really been doing any posting here for . . . forever, really, and I've been thinking about why that is. I mean, I come online to read other people's posts often enough, but I don't really write anymore

*hugs* Kei-han, please don't feel that way. I don't know what Pojo's posts are like, but mine really aren't spectacular.
I'm sorry I don't always comment, but it's always good to hear from you, even the little things. (And you know what I fan I am of little things, particularly since I happen to be one.)
...I really need some excuse to "meet" Pojo. Maybe I should date Devon too. *grins*
I didn't realize LiveJournal entries needed to be hailed as the Second Coming. If that's the case, then I really ought to shape up & actually take my journal seriously rather than use it as a place where I can get things off my chest/post random bits of news/upload pictures/etc.
And while I'm a really talented writer (I swear!) I know it doesn't show through my posts. If anything, what I post makes me seem less intelligent than I really am. I feel the same way. Like you, I'm a talented writer - I've been accepted to certain academies &, due to competitions, have won thousands of dollars (my most recent essay was worth $8,000) for my essays/short stories/etc. However, I highly doubt you'd realize that/believe that through my entries. I use my journal to rant, whine, complain, & share interesting things I've heard. Nothing more.
Heheh, I sort of feel similarly, except less with the self-consciousness about my writing and more with the self-consciousness of the arrogance of assuming anyone's actually interested in most of my life. Which is why a lot of posts I make turn out to be something like "Cookies are tasty!" If you're going to be trivial anyway, might as well go for broke.
At any rate, your posts are often better than a lot of my friends page. ::shrug::
