Words: 799
Prompt: Yoonseok Domestic Au (kinda)
A/N: I haven't updated in forever and this is proabably not even worth reading but I just wanted to get the fluff away

Yoongi tells himself he has time, even though the last of his alarms has already gone off. It rings the intro of some underground hip-hop song into the one room apartment, vibrating on the ragged nightstand. It's skin piercingly annoying, because the song is so overplayed in Yoongi's ears, but even so he makes no effort in shutting it off. The ringtone fades out into silence as it puts itself on snooze, and he makes the brave decision of skipping an entire day of classes rather than hauling himself out of his bed. Mostly, it's because he doesn't have the energy to get up and deal with his imbicile chimp-classmates, but a little part of him wants to spend just a few moments more next to the compelling warmth of the body he snuggles his face into. He breathes in the scent of the boy, cherishing the muskily sweetness into his memories.

"You need to get up," comes the rumbling voice of a half asleep boy, and Yoongi curls his arms tighter around Hoseok's waist in protest. There's little to no essence of any convince in his voice, and Yoongi seals the hanging assumptions by staying in the bed.

"Staying in," Yoongi responds, his voice sounding equally rough, and nuzzles his nose into Hoseok's bony shoulder. The dancer shivers from the cold skin, and Yoongi doesn't try to hide the content smile that spreads across his lips.

"But school," Hoseok mumbles into the pillow, and Yoongi's ears barely catch the word. He responds with a long, dragged out groan that vibrates against Hoseok's skin, and Hoseok laughs at him. It's pure and raspy, and perfect in every way. It's so unlike the rumbling pusts of air Yoongi's friends make whenever someone pulls a crude joke. It's so much more fluid, natural and effortless in more than a thousands ways, like a medicine that soothes every aching muscle in Yoongi's body. That's exactly what Hoseok had done to him yesterday, soothed Yoongi's bashed wounds with a laugh so familiar that it feels like a lullaby to his ears. Suddenly, Yoongi feels how his face turns red at the thought of the effect Hoseok has on him, and his ears burn with embarrassment.

"Thank you," Yoongi whispers into the room after a moment of silence, muffled against the comforting skin of Hoseok, and his grip tightens just the slightest to show his appreciation even more. He feels a hand place over his own, warm fingers curling around his fingers, and Yoongi's almost sure there's a wide smile on the other side of Hoseok. He smiles too, even though he should blame Hoseok for breaking down years worth of emotional walls.

"Stop it," Hoseok says, but Yoongi can clearly hear the smile in the annoyed voice, and pulls Hoseok to turn around. Their eyes meet and Yoongi can't help but smile, gums showing and probably morning breath reminating into Hoseok's face. If the dancer notices anything, he doesn't say, and instead smiles right back. "I should really go."

"Don't," Yoongi whispers back, and pulls Hoseok closer just to prove he wont let him.

What would be more normal would be Hoseok saying something along the lines of 'what will I get in return?' but the dancer makes no effort in saying anything. He stays still, stares at Yoongi until Yoongi gets uncomfortable and hides his face in Hoseok's neck, where his warm forhead rests perfectly to the shapes.

"Stop," it's Yoongi's turn to say, and he feels ridiculous for even acting this way. The undergroung rapper who is so used to people staring at him in blazing lights, admiring him even on the late night streets, shouldn't cower away from the simple eyes of one human being. But Hoseok is so much more than just a simple human being. He's the entity of what Yoongi stands for, the sole reason he makes it through every single day without desolating himself in his covers, hiding from the world.

He silently thanks Hoseok in his next project, for everything he's done with barely any effort. He proclaims secrets he doesn't dare to say out loud without the rhythm of a thumping beat, because words never form the way he wants them to outside of the studio. He doesn't say the exact three words out loud, but there are a thousand of ways he shows he loves Hoseok, that he's nothing without him, that he's just an empty shell. He'll probably never let Hoseok hear the track though. Because when the day comes, he'll say it outloud between just the two of them, whispered with care and fear and longing for the other to accept him, and Hoseok will smile his wide stupid smile and call Yoongi an idiot. Because that's the way it'll be.
