Would you like my help? I am a professor, perhaps if I aided you, they might realize it is a serious situation and not just a student not liking their roommate, which is probably what they have assumed.

I find it hard to believe they assumed that, given I've told them repeatedly exactly what their mistake was and have, in fact, been disciplined for attempting to rectify it myself. If they're honestly that stupid (which I actually don't doubt), your help will do nothing to improve the situation.

They simply cannot be bothered to correct their own mistakes, and were unwilling to let me find other accomodations on my own. They know very well what the problem is, believe me.
