Yuletide Letter
Dear Yuletide Author,
First off, allow me to get this out of the way. *ahem* OMG YAY THANK YOU!!!! I am really excited to be participating in this year's exchange and I am so happy you have been picked to write my prompt(s).
Secondly, I know these prompts are kind of random, but I don't want you to freak out. I am really easy to please, just the idea of receiving a fic already makes me very happy. This is supposed to be fun and creative and I hope ti stays that way for you.
So onto the Prompts!
Empire Records:
Characters Requested: Joe and Lucas.
One of the main things that always gets me when I watch this movie and the relationship between Joe and Lucas. Their quasi father/son dynamic always makes me think as I am watching the movie. I would LOVE a fic exploring their relationship. How you define that relationship is up to you. I am alright with just pure friendship, father/son bonds, slash if your prefer. As for timeline, I think it would interesting to explore their relationship before the events of the movie, however, if an idea hits you for something after the movie, I am cool with that. The story itself doesn't have to be sweet or fluffy or anything (though if that's what you want to write). I do enjoy the 'I hate you so much I love you' kind of rough relationships.
Okay for these next few prompts, if you were selected to write one of these, I would like to let you know, I am a Classics major in college. I love pretty much everything about Greek and Roman history, so if you get one of these prompts, please feel free to throw in as many historical references as you want. I WILL LOVE IT. Also, it should be known that I love Rome more than Greece (can't help myself, it's my Italian blood lol) and I have the biggest History crush on Hannibal, and a literary crush on Hector. Moving on!
Classical Cities Anthropomorfic:
Characters Requested: Rome and Carthage.
Remember how I said that Hannibal was my history crush? Yea. I'll let you in on a little secret author, I wanted to request Classical History RPF with Scipio/Hannibal, however they were not on the approved character list :( So I would love a fic about the sordid love affair between Rome and Carthage. (You can even throw in some references to Dido and Aeneas' affair, have them be the parents?) I am looking for something that is humorous and kind of silly (with lots of historical references because that would be awesome haha) However if a serious idea strikes you, I am good with that. This one if pretty much free game for you, you can set it however you want (High School AU would be pretty hilarious I think). This prompt is mainly meant to be fun and creative, so take it wherever you want.
ROME
Characters Requested: Vorenus and Caesarion.
Okay, I know Vorenus supposedly died at the end of the series, but let's pretend he didn't. I love the interaction between Vorenus and Pullo throughout the whole series. I would have requested both of them, however, Pullo was not on the list.... So for my prompt! I would love an after series fic, could be right after with Vorenus still injured, or a few years later, with Vorenus and Caesaerion. I would love it if Pullo was also in the picture, however, if he is not, that is perfectly fine. I really like the dynamic between Vorenus, how is awesome and honourable in his own way, and the Proud and Haughty Caesarion we saw near the end of the series. If you would like to depict them still on the run traveling the Italian country side as Octavian becomes emperor and such, that's fine. Or depict them finally settling down. I am easy going. Alternatively, you are also free to make this fic set before the series ends. I am completely open (it doesn't even have to have Caesarion in it yanno, I'm okay with just Vorenus)
Greek Mythology
Character Requested: Hades.
Okay this prompt is meant to be completely humourous. I love Hades, and I like to think he is kind of this snarky guy who just puts up with crap from everyone (Kind of like in the book Percy Jackson) So I would love a funny fic exploring a day in the immortal life of Hades. You can make it as weird as you want. I just like thinking of Hades going through his routine. (It is my personal Headcanon that Hector and Hades become like snarky bffs in the underworld and play poker.... yea)

Likes: I love humour and snark. Puns, witty dialogue, randomness. Any rating is find, G- NC-17 if the urge so strikes. Serious, silly, sympathetic, or zany. Any type of fic makes me happy. I also love character interaction over plot, not gonna lie. That's the main thing in all of my favorite books and fics, I love characters interacting. If you can make it work, a fic with people sitting around talking makes me happy.
Dislikes: I am not one for the uberangst fics, I don't mind Dark!fic and the like, but not extremely angsty. The one kink I cannot stand is Mpreg, so PLEASE no Mpreg. Er... yea not much I don't like.
