I talked to the girl I want to watch chick flicks with last night... she spent the night at home (Richmond BC), while I spent it at my home (Portland Oregon). I tried talking her into going to Seattle for the new year swapover celebration a week ago, but because of the snow she wanted to stay home.

(before talking to her, I was talking with one of my friends who is trying to hook us up with a job in Africa guarding a oil well or something)
