Good evening, residents of Luceti. Pardon me, but if I may have a moment of your time, do any of you like tea?

I grow and blend my own tea actually.

Oh, really? Is there a particular kind you favor?

Yes. Well, I am partial to flower teas.

So that's what you meant by growing your own. The taste must be satisfying.

I do. And I think I'd be flogged if I said I didn't.

[ There's a notable pause before a response is written. Flogged? ]

Why's that?

I'm a Brit. And being one, we're associated with drinking tea most of the time.

So it's a national thing. If I may, what sort of tea do you favor most?

Yes, I'm rather a fan of tea. Was mocked repeatedly for it back home, but I do enjoy it if it's made properly.

I don't see why one would mock another for liking tea . . . It can't be that hard to prepare.

Oh, it's not. Not at all. It's just...not a popular drink among my friends.

Tastes do vary between people, even friends. So it's natural the same would apply for tea.

I'm quite fond of tea myself.

Quite a few people here seem to. Is it the aroma, the taste, or something else?

I enjoy the taste, but there's also a certain calming effect about the scent and just the very ritual of preparing it.

I'd read before that tea can indeed soothe oneself. It's no surprise that preparing it would be just as enjoyable.

[Because writing is for nobs.]

Well, it really depends on what kind of tea we're talking about.

[ B-but it's so much easier to review the conversion this way. ]

Any kind. I don't have a particular one in mind. Did you?

[voice] liketofu October 27 2010, 05:43:20 UTC
[But writing needs more effort than talking!]

Kinda. If we're talking about green tea, I don't really like them all that much since they can be rather bland.

[ But!! ]

Someone also said green tea's a bit strong. It doesn't seem to be very popular.
