Crystal here! Thanks for finding Mega! I'll be right over, if you can tell me where you are right now.

Ah, there you are. We're in the forest, to the . . . south east, I believe. You should be able to see us with ease. We're very close to the village.

Got it!

[She rushes along to the forest. After a few minutes, she appears in the distance, and, having spotted the two of them, runs up towards them. When she stopped in front of Alf, she bowed.]

Thank you!

[ He turns to her and bows as well. He looks from Crystal to Meganium, then back to the former. ]

You're welcome. I'll have to thank you, too; Meganium makes interesting company.

Handful, huh? I heard they're capable of special feats.

I do imagine they make fine friends as well.

They are. We call them 'moves', and it differs for each Pokémon.

Each of them has a different personality so it's always interesting with them around.

[ He nods in understanding. ]

It's the one ability I've been told its capable of. There are others, right?

[ He cups his chin with a hand, thinking. ] It must be a unique experience. Keeping several around, I mean.

There are, like tackle.

[And she tells Mega to demonstrate.]

They're very common back home, but yes, it's still an unique experience!

[ He's noticeably impressed. One, Mega's huge; two, so tame; and three . . . alien creature. He's quite enthused. ]

I now see how that could be the case -- and this is only one, small part of it!

[She's more than willing to let him see her other Pokémon, when they come!]

Yes! I help out with Professor Oak, who researches Pokémon, and it's all very interesting.

[ Awesome, awesome. He'd be delighted. ]

Help out a researcher, you say? You must be fairly knowledgeable when it comes to them.
