I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that general cross section of society is completely fucking retarded. Stupid people are breeding. The IQ quotient is dropping at an alarming rate. I fear that at this rate there will be no one worth while left to converse with. If one should doubt the efficacy of my perception they need look no further than

It's something right out of a Kurt Vonnegut story. I am reminded specifically of "Harrison Bergeron". Our society no longer wants to see people of TV that can be considered smarter or more successful that ourselves. Instead, TV filters us the lives of people of stupid people so that we may feel better about our own faults and failings. Just like in THX-1138, you have to give the workers their pills in order to keep them from complaining and keep them working, even if their contentment is an illusion.

Nice to see we are on wave length. THX 1138 is a great metaphor for what's happening. Yes. exactly. Satiate the masses with doses of ignorance and stupidity. An uninformed and ignorant nation will be much easier to manipulate through fear and propaganda. We truly are becoming a nation of sheep. Baaa..stards!
