attack of the Trojans

And no, that's not as kinky as it sounds. Apparently no website is safe from the malicious pop up ad trojan viruses, even the official World of Warcraft forums. I've read 3 separate large threads concerning it over the past few days, and based on some of the things it's supposed to do, I'm pretty convinced I have something nasty on my computer. I use Google Chrome. It's easily available and has all the perks of most of the other browsers. Firefox usually offers an advantage with safety but I really don't know much about it beyond that. I used it briefly and something with the version I had just didn't sit well with me.

Oh no. :( I have a Mac and run Firefox, so I know next to nothing about what would help you.

I suggest you talk to Talienan; he does security stuff for a living and has good ideas.

After going through the misery and frustration of being hacked not only once but twice, I gave in and got one of those blizzard authenticators.

Have not been hacked again since. I doubt I ever will be. Was totally worth the 6 dollars.
