Ha!

We just had our second, and hopefully last, fire drill of the year. I have to say that it was the funniest thing ever, largely because the IHouse management insisted on counting down over the PA system. Once everyone had gotten out of doors, they (the management) decided to have an impromptu meeting. What was decided? We unanimously voted to ( Read more... )

Yo Jud, it's Jack! You better show them up on the BBQ or else we will not allow you to return to the U.S., much less Arkansas. There are FIVE Korean girls living on my hall this year for some reason. Why did Trinity get so popular suddenly with Koreans? One of them, named Soo actually goes to your place. Freaky, huh? Well if everything goes alright, I will not be going to Beijing....I will instead be going to Chengdu in Sichuan province. We'll see how that goes. Well, keep posting stuff, including pictures, cause I wanna see what's going on!

Jack! Long time no see/hear/read. You need a lj yourself, as if you weren't tired of hearing that from Erin by now.

You'll be happy to know that I attended the BBQ, AND I had seconds -- just for you! So you say a girl from Yonsei is attending Trinity?. That is pretty freak-y. Is there as an exchange student or has she chosen it as her main undergraduate institution?

Take it easy and keep in touch,

Jud

P.s. Keep me posted on your status in China?

P.p.s. Why aren't you there now, if you don't mind my asking?

i was allways scared of fire drills as a child. One time we had a bomb scare in Dec. and i had to go out onto the football feild in my gym close but then they just let us back in the building. It juast allways seems like we are preparing for the worst. How come we never hav pie eatin' drills in cause someone just gives us a pie?

That is great! I wish our fire drills were productive like that. How was the BBQ?

Jud,
I just remembered, I didn't tell you that I'm doing Hendrix in London next semester, so I won't see you here at Hendrix. I'm very sad about that. I just wanted to let you know. When do you get back? Maybe we can see eachother over Christmas break. Are you learning any Korean? Hope all is well,

Keeley

Sadness... halcyonbluehue October 16 2004, 02:33:38 UTC
I’m not sure if I told you about my plan to take a trip through China after I finish classes at Yonsei. I hope to get back to the US sometime between the 12th-14th of January. The trip is still in the works, so it may not happen at all, but if I do go, and don’t get to see you for an entire year!, you have to keep in mind that I loves you. I know I'm going to go crazy with a capital "K" not seeing you for an entire year! And to make matters even crazier, 98% of the people I know at Hendrix are going to be abroad when I get back. ::sheds an electronic tear::

Yes, I am learning Korean. Though, I’m doing so at an alarmingly slow pace considering midterms are next week. Help!

Hey Jud! Jessica Bridges here! Wow - 98%. I'm glad to know you've done the math to figure out exactly how sad you'll be. Surely it won't be that bad, though. Just think - you can get to know some of the freshmen that started this year. When do your classes end? That's exciting that you're planning a trip through China over Christmas break. That'll be awesome. I recently found out from Keeley what you're lj username was, so I'm glad to be updated on your life and see that you're having a good time. BTW - I was finally accepted (well, tentatively) to go to Chile next semester. Laura will not be there, though - I'll let her explain what she's doing. I created a blog at blospot.com over fall break - it's http://jessicainanutshell.blogspot.com. I was really excited - it took me forever. All I have is one entry and a partial profile, though. Anyway - I was anxious to get one made so I'd have it in place before I go abroad. I hope all is well, and that you're not ( ... )

Hey Jessica! I'm glad you find the lj. My classes end on the 22nd of December at the latest, so I'll probably stay in Korea over Christmas. Hopefully this won't cause me to come down with a case of homesickness. Maybe I'll be able to spend Christmas with a Korean family.(?) I am curious to see how (differently) Christmas is celebrated here.

I hope things are going well at Hendrix, AND I hope you have a blast in Chile this coming semester!
