y'know, i used the usb port to view the contents of the player, and all my songs were on there - they just don't show up for display. i think i will check out that site.

Go for it :)

Sometimes there is a feature on MP3 players that the contents of the drive need to be refreshed (or "profiled"). Does this apply to yours?

While you are having problems, you may wish to make sure that you have backups of all of your MP3's as well...

no, not all from cds... some from cds and some downloads

I have about 5,000 songs all from CDs....and my collections is rather shabby compared to a lot of others... :)

REMEMBER THAT ONE TIME WHEN YOU GOT YELLED AT IN MS. DOYLES CLASS for thinking u were right and you weren't? THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST SHIT EVER!!! ill post this in ur journal as well so i make sure you will read it!
