Went out to Western Welcome Week's fireworks show. (It's a local...thing. Long story.) That made me feel a little better. I'm calm now, at least. I didn't get the job though, that's pretty clear. I say give it a shot! :D I would think if the ad is posted on the school bulletin board then students might be eligible for the job as well.

Oh no, they want students, it's a work study position. The main thing that gives me pause is that it starts next Monday, and I think I need to have a bunch of paperwork filled out, including a student aid thing that I've already worked on, but...apparently won't be approved for another four weeks, so. Iiii'm not sure if it's possible. Worth looking into, though.

I think that's still okay, though. As long as you get the position the paperwork, as long as they are completed in a timely manner, shouldn't be too big of a problem. (At least, that's how it is here at my university :\)

Last time I talked to someone about work study (a few weeks ago) they said there was a waiting list to get approved for it because there were so many students, or something? And I think I was told it'd take a month or something before I even know if I'm getting financial aid (which is crazy because school starts tomorrow) so....yeeeah it's probably not happening. I'll keep applying places, though, something's bound to pan out eventually.
