I am completely outside the box here, so maybe my opinion is void, however, that message seems really sincere, haley. I am not completely aware of the situation and how he lied to you before, and being lied to period is pretty shitty, but i think you should cut him some slack. That, to me, sounded really sincere. If he means anything at all to you, you'll take up his friendship offer.

I agree it was cowardly to lie in the first place, but it sounds to me like he manned up. Idk, that is just me.

I love you though, and you know through my journal how shitty my love life always is. I know how you are feeling. You can talk to me about anything. =]

he is a coward, not a man
he broke up with me in a text message, when he had the chance to do it in person
and his excuse of breaking up with me was originally "i dont think im mentally able to leave you here worrying about me while im deployed for 6 months"
when the actual reason was another girl, that he had fallen in love with another girl while we were dating
i just wish he would have been straight up with me to begin with
i found out on myspace he had another girlfriend, otherwise he would have never told me.
so yeahhh, it will be a while before he can be forgiven
