I swear to god this shit will be explained eventually. For now, uh, I guess I'm sorry your fill turned into such a fucked-up mess, OP.
Also if anyone would like to help me come up with troll names for Rose and Jade and a human name for Equius I would be much obliged. Won't become relevant for awhile yet, but it's giving me a headache and I'd like to

My whining about cliffs aside, I really enjoyed this chapter! The conversations/banter/flirting/trolling between KK and Egderp (such catchy nicknames) is spot on. And it's very disconcerting to be on the other end of the screen here. On one hand, I can understand how Karl's feeling, as everyone experiences it vicariously through John. But now, starting over at the beginning again, I can really understand where the trolls were coming from.
Also, mental images of John just sulking at his computer after Karl blocks him. Best mental image ever. And the irony of Karl using a hammer asjkdfl /bows down to your brilliance and flails more in the corner

Jade was highly valued in ancient China, and they used the Nephrite type until the 1800s, when Jaedite was imported from Burma. It replaced Nephrite almost immediately due to its variety of colors and vividness. The brilliant green jade was almost immediately made the variety of imperial choice. It was named "Feicui" or Kingfisher jade, so there's one possible name. Another possibility comes from the two varieties, nephrite and jaedite. They were given different words in Chinese, "ying yi" (hard jade) for jaedite and "ruan yu" (soft jade) for nephrite.
Rose... eeeeeeeh. That one's tricky. I was looking through a few pictures and there are some that almost appear lilac. They're usually from the Rosa cinnamomea family, but there aren't many species that have six letter names.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, man! I'm having a lot of fun writing it. I really appreciate the name suggestion stuff, too. This is going to be very helpful~

Then this arrangement is going to work out wonderfully~ And no problem! It's kind of fun to look up all these names.

Equius = Enrique. Yes.
You could also do Ethan, Evan, Eugene, Ezra, Emmett...
There are a lot of E names out there, ehehe.

Also, "Jaydia" and "Rosado" or "Rosari" might work as well.

Some possibilities for Equius' name; Earl (class crap showing up right in his name this time around), Elmo (goofy option thanks to Sesame Street but sort of hits the furry thing, and it means 'protector' which suits his relationship wit Nepeta if it's at all the same), or Evan (which is in no way meaningful for him, it's just a fairly common 'E'-name and I like it *g*)

As for names, the anons above me have given several lovely suggestions and I am terrible at coming up with appropriate names, so. I am going to go ahead and second Eugene, as well as Jadite and Rosale.
