It's looking like I'm going to be responding to this problem by delivering a swift and hefty payment of $1000 to the pockets of OfficeMax for a new computer. Whatever, man, I ain't even mad.

Yes I am. Fuck you, Windows Vista, you colossal failure of a failing thing.

Also due to external hard drive shenanigans why does all my technology hate me WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO SEND ME YOUR TEXT FILE OF THE JOHN AND KARKAT AIM ROLEPLAY FUNTIMES IN A FEW DAYS? I know you have one, do not even lie to me.

Ouch. That freaking sucks, man. Hopefully it'll at least be worth it when you get a new one, because $1000, what, that had better bring you some awesome shit.

...lol of course I have one. And sure, of course I'll send it. Just let me know whenever, okay? ♥

Have you tried BitDefender.com? It has a free scan that will delete as many found viruses as it can, might help

Yeah, that sucks man :/

Aah, thank you! The current computer is utterly unsalvagable, I fear, but perhaps this will prevent future meltdowns of this caliber, at least.

oh nooooo D=
what happened?
Is it possible to start it in safe mode and manually find+delete the virus, and/or start it off an anti-virus boot disc? I had to do that recently to my PC. (I use comodo antivirus, which is an awesome free antivirus software if you are looking for one! but even with a good antivirus software sometimes malware and shit will sneak in.)

Yeah, I tried that. I also went in through the user account the computer technicians put on there the last time it imploded and tried to fix it that way, but no dice. We took it in to get looked at today and the consensus was that yes, they could fix it, but it would cost me $200 now and I'd still have to shell out for a new computer in a few months anyway because my computer is old and has a bunch of problems unrelated to the fact that it is a malware-ridden husk of its former self.

But bro I am totally taking notes on said free antivirus because I'll be damned if I give Norton Security any more of my money to continue enjoying the obviously bang-up job they've been doing so far. :|

Yeah, everywhere I go, I hear people say that Norton is kind of a worthless piece of shit. =[ Also, antivirus software is so necessary for having a PC, it seems really unfair that you should have to pay constantly for it!
