Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

One shard of memory, but one, you hold on to-- and that is standing on a ridge outside your home on a moonless night, eyes tipped towards the heavens, towards the stars as wind ruffled your hair and the tall grass beneath your feet. In the valley below, lights bob and dip and dance, moving in steady orbit past your hill in mimicry of celestial bodies, arching out patterns in the dust as lanternbearers sway with the music of eternity, unheard by all but the purest of souls. He is not with you, but his shadow is at your side, and soon there are chimes sounding just for you.

I love how you can establish a whole world in a couple of paragraphs, a real, textured, layered one, with the characters being recognisably John and Karkat to boot -- you are someone who really can write a story in a sentence, and you've no idea how jealous I am that you can do it. Oh my God, this is ineffably sad in so much of it.

Omg, this is like the best idea ever. It's like having our very own fanfic slave to do our bidding.

Okay, 1 year after Homestuck on the Range. Maybe we can see how far John/Karkat can continue their shenanigans, how John explains what's been going on to the rest of the crew, and how those two should take it to the next level. Maybe we'll even see some happenings with Sollux/Aradia.

Oooooh I just got an evil idea...*devilish grin*

Mix and Match, a couple of weeks later.
Karkat, John, Terezi and Dave are having a conversation and, in the middle of it, it slips out that Terezi and Dave had the lovely smutty scene of the fic...and of course being Karkat well...Karkat, he immediately jumps to the conclusion of Terezi topping Dave and promptly uses that delicious idea to unleash all his verbal revenge on our favorite coolkid and make fun of him without any kind of restrain (since you know, human males are "supposed to be on top" since they've got bone bulges like troll females and bla bal bla), leaving behind a very defensive (and mentally hissing) Dave, a completely clueless John and a far-from-helpful Terezi who insists on giving hints on the fact that yes, she actually topped (not to mention that she maybe also still believes that Dave's a trans? XDDD...OMG, I JUST REALIZED THIS COULD POSSIBLY END UP THE HEIGHT OF EPIC!).
