Sollux burning the world has been the most beautiful thing in this story so far. I have no idea why the idea of him assuring the end of human civilization in such a calculated and intentional manner is so lovely to me but god, this fic makes me care about Sollux Captor in ways I never thought I could give a fuck. ♥ ♥ ♥

Haha I appreciated the TL;DR on the other post too, I am in the process of forming a coherent response to it after having just woken up.

To be honest, that's probably the image I like most so far, too. I've been planning this chapter (the full part and this little end of act bridge thing) since pretty much day one. I kind of just really like the thought of him being so goddamn resentful of the world and fed up with everything that after awhile he'd start doing things like this just out of spite (also I enjoy being referential way too much and liked the callback between this and Karkat accidentally setting off the doomsday virus in canon. You are the doom delivery mechanism, Karkat, it is you.) But yeah point being I love Sollux and I have enjoyed trying to make you give a fuck about him.

As for Gamzee, I am pretty excited for that part too but unfortunately first we get a.) a short intermission (like, one chapter short) and then b.) several flashback to the troll!kids' session chapters. I guess everyone will just have to wait.Also:

I LOVE THIS KLAJKLSJDASNLJ you write the best John/Karkat fics ever and oh my gog I love how EASY it seems to you to just create a whole new world, it's not half-assed or anything, and I swear everything I read from you is just as credible and awesome. (not totally related BUT) Streetstuck? sounded completely irrational yet you go and make it credible, sweet, awesome, and more. I love the way you write, the way your make the characters develop, and I love you, and even if it would take you YEARS to finish this, I would stick with this fic til the end.
